The C12/Twelve is one that I have never handled, I hope to visit Maidenhead at some point this year and that would definitely be one I'd like to see in person.nbg wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 6:31 am My favourite series and why?
C60 - I have both MK1 and MK2 and have tried on the Current MK3. Yes I like them, but I have other dive watches that I prefer.
C63 - I have 36mm and 39mm versions covering both simple three hander and GMT. Yes I like them, but have other watches of the style that I much prefer.
C65 - I have a couple and like them, but less than other watches in a similar category, that I prefer.
C”various” - I have a few from the back catalogue, but as I hardly wear them they are ruled out of favourite status.
C1 Bel Canto - almost a favourite.
The winner for me is the C12 series. Different to watches I have from other brands and worn far more than any of the above. An easy favourite from my perspective.

To my everlasting regret I sold the last ever C6 Kingfisher assembled for me behind the white dial.Thegreyman wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 11:17 amI definitely predicted you would mention the C6 Kingfisher, Pete. I recollect you have/had a good few of them and were seeking out the cream dial version, although maybe that's a one of one?tikkathree wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2024 6:45 pm I've got to say it's somewhere in the C600 Tritech Elite, C60 Mk1, C6 Kingfishers. The C6 range offers more variations but probably I'd be pressed to put the C600 as top of my tree: there are only three of them.
I've had a few of them myself, probably should have kept the yellow LE Auto that I sold on the forum some years back![]()

Overnight I'd been thinking about the C63 which offers such variety: a very close second place for me.

That yellow LE Auto: am I the current keeper? Might be but I'd need to look back....

I’ve become less and less attached to my CW watches over the last few years and have held on to them for less time before moving them on.
A quick look back at those I’ve owned shows the C60 tridents as the model I’ve owned most. The Mk2 and the first of my Mk3 C60 watches are probably the CW watches I’ve owned the longest.

Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

Re: What is your favourite CW series?
Probably the C8 series is my favourite, love a flyer tick, love a big faced but thin watch tick, love a bit of variety with some very special limited editions tick, love the fact the C8 flyer is available at an amazing price, tick.
Also really love the C9, the SPC's in particular but that's more for the movement than for the watch itself as they are a little too thick to be perfect.
Love the C65's but they wear small for a big watch which doesn't always work for me.
Love the C11 series, the flyers and the divers have their own special style which will hopefully come back at some point.......

Re: What is your favourite CW series?
Among CW watches, that would be the C65 for me.
This is just the 38mm (plus SC, and missing the first Dune GMT). I have couple of the 41mm as well: hand wound, auto, and GMT.
I may have a problem.

I think the black gold version gave you a similar look without the patination problem. There really were a lot of very attractive designs.Thegreyman wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 1:50 pmThat reminds me of another favourite, it was just the bronze patination that put me off and led me to sell, the raw look was great.

Re: What is your favourite CW series?
My favourite series is the C series. I much prefer it over the W and other series. Honourable mention to the M series, though.

I didn’t even know there was an “M”, unless we are talking cars in which case a BMW M car is always a good choice!!

It’s a good thing I read the first post. I was about to write “Dallas”.

Re: What is your favourite CW series?
M series is the Morgan series of watches. Or at least that's how their SKU codes began. Officially, they were part of the C1 or C3 ranges, but I like SKUs better!Thegreyman wrote:I didn’t even know there was an “M”, unless we are talking cars in which case a BMW M car is always a good choice!!

Re: What is your favourite CW series?
While I like to think I don't have a favorite line I do own 3 C65s and 3 C63s. I am not sure I would care which series a watch belonged to as long as I liked it.
