It's not actually cheaper to purchase in dollars from the US website, not after you add on UK VAT at 15%...
Ideal number of watches in your collection = current number of watches + 1...

It's not actually cheaper to purchase in dollars from the US website, not after you add on UK VAT at 15%...
But you wouldn't add 15% if you live outside of the UK/EU (which Dogwood does)

I must have missed the bit where Dogwood said he was in America!! :oops: :oops:

Anyway, I guess I was just pointing out to anybody thinking of trying it that it isn't cheaper for a UK citizen to buy in dollars from the CW USA website! In fact it's more expensive, so maybe we haven't got it so bad afterall!! :D

If you think the CW price increase is bad.

I have just looked at the RRP of my grail watch, a Zenith Grande Port Royale, and that has increased by £750!!!
Watches - Too many but not enough!

With the Pound going down 30% against other major currencies, everyone is paying more but out of the EU it is 15 % less.
