I'd love to get a black Version of the C65 Dartmouth Series 2 :)

Happy days😊😊. Just got a C60 Sapphire Orange in the sale on a bracelet. 40mm but I’m delighted.

Everyone else produces one, so why not CW.

When other brands try to produce one, as their version of the Genta originals, I invariably think “that isn’t a xxx (insert Genta original of choice)”.

However I think that if CW produce one I will just probably think “I like that, I will buy one for what it is”. :)

I can see what you're saying Neil, would you not like to see the brand not follow the sheep?
Many of the latest releases seem very, how can I say this diplomatically.... Influenced by others.....

Diplomacy not required Chris. :)

I think the reality is that all brands (well nearly all) are influenced by others; it is just the way with watch brands.

Produce something that folk want to buy, that perhaps takes influence from others, or produce something completely different - different because it has no attractive or redeeming qualities?

I know which I would take. :)

Now here is a thing, which of these two is really the one lacking in imagination?

CW producing the Aquitaine#, or

Omega deciding to produce a series of brightly coloured ATs… :)

Presumably you can cut a small brand like CW some slack for coloured LE Sealanders, but such a revered brand as Omega…

Neil

# Just thinking - the Aquitaine doesn’t really resemble the last four different BP FFs that I tried on.

As an Omega fan, I actually totally agree my friend.
It actually frustrates me.... When they put their mind to it, they can produce some truly special pieces.... I personally think they're so obsessed with challenging the crown in sales they forget what they can actually achieve.
Talking of the R brand, they're even lazier!!!!
As a fan of integrated bracelets, being old and coming from that Era, I do agree it would be interesting to see CW have a bash, as a watch fan I always crave something innovative.
Maybe CW and Fears will surprise us on the 25th Image

Regarding CW having a bash at an integrated bracelet watch, there was the C2 quartz in 2008 and then the C2 FLE/C20 Lido Automatic. Very IWC-esque, but I always thought it was a good-looking watch -- especially the C2 FLE with the blued markers and hands.

So I look forward to their second bash at this.

There are two ideas that come to mind. Neither would be just another dive watch variation. I don’t have a dislike for dive watches as I own several. It’s for that reason I would like to see a couple of other niches addressed in 2023. A chronograph using a panda style sub dial layout & racing theme would be nice. Christopher Ward has done them in the past but primarily in quartz. I would like to see an automatic chronograph & much thinner than the C60 Trident chronograph currently being retired. My other 2023 wish which isn’t likely to happen would be a C9 Small Seconds SH21 as limited edition revival model! Other than that, it will be interesting to see the tweaks given the Mk 4 version of the C60 Trident.
