Would you expect any company to say anything except that when asked the same question?

Of course not...so we should stop expecting a different answer to a question that is not our concern. Transparency is one thing, prying is another.

I hope it will look good on the crowns ( I still don't like the amateurism of releasing a new watch without the new crown design, just looks rushed)
It does look good on the straps, and might look good on the movements (although it makes me question the 'no finishing is best finishing' rhetoric surrounding the SH21 release). The rest of the rebranding still leaves me cold.

There was finishing on the original SH21 surfaces: hand ground straight line finish on surfaces + polished beveled edges.

I liked it a lot.

I'll reserve comments on the proposed new finish until I see it. It better not end up looking like the waffle finish on Steinhart's "in-house" ETA 2824 clone that has been put on hold until defects are resolved. That one looked cheap.

I like the two flags, the website feels fine and the marketing is good enough, enjoyed the magazine, just don't care for that font on the dial of the C65 and I'm interested to see how they are going to approach this in the future.
