This sounds a bit like Trustpilot.
I think that this has to be open and impartial.
If a watch is, for whatever reason, not working as it should (and I appreciate that this is from the perception of the owner) then, irrespective of the dealings with Customer Services, the poster is entitled to rate a watch at 3* instead of 5*.
On a serious note, I imagine most of the ratings that might show up in the archives are likely to be from forum users, who will likely be pretty fair in what they have to say.
The Trustpilot comparison is a fair one to make. Personally, I’d view Trustpilot as the place where I rate the company, to include their customer service. The archive I see as where I’m rating specific watches.
Fair comments Andrew
As an example and I guess what I was thinking of was, in my experience, something like the several C60 Trident Pro 600 316L series that I owned that developed the "spinning rotor" syndrome which, in my eyes as ascetically nice as the watches are, would only get a 3 rating.
The other thing that has popped into my head is, how do you distinguish the comments between someone buying new or second-hand?

One can rate the watch exactly as they see fit. If you think the watch was great but had issue(s), then a lower rating is understandable.
You are both correct. The ratings are on the watches themselves and having nothing to do with customer service or the company itself. That is for Trustpilot.
I think that having just been launched we expect that most ratings will be from forum members, but in the long run, that is not the sole intent. We expect (hope) over time, as the CWA becomes better known, that regular CW customers will add to the ratings.

Interestingly enough, amongst other things, I can see this as being an excellent source of information for potentially buying on the second-hand market with things to look out for.
However, I still find the real life pictures in the Gallery makes choosing a watch much easier if there are doubts about the colour hue or wrist size presence (which is a useful link from the archive to the forum ).
We are trying our best to make the CWA as complete as possible, but it made no sense to include real life photos when we could link to our own Reference Gallery.
Let me take this opportunity to remind everyone just how important the Reference Gallery is. Thanks again to all who have contributed photos, but there are still many models that have no photos or only 1. You can view the list here. It is true that some of the missing photos are in the Gallery, but we need them posted in the Reference Gallery. Anything that you can add will help.

Now I have entered a review - could the review text box be made bigger, to show more lines of text, please? It was hard to check what I entered, and a typo slipped through. At this size it's easier to compose a review in notepad, and cut and paste.
