Watch Order and Delivery
Watch Order and Delivery
I ordered a Sealander on Friday, received the confirmation and as of Wednesday, haven't heard anything else. I'm not picky but just want to
Get a rough idea when it will arrive in Boston. Their customer service number was no help. Anyone have any shipping experience with CW?

Re: Watch Order and Delivery
Welcome to the forum. Some questions:
Was it listed as in stock when you purchased on Friday? Also did you purchase in the evening Eastern? You may have pushed up to the weekend in the UK.
Did you create an account when you placed your order? You can track progress there.
In general, they try to fill orders within 2 business days but I don't know if they have fully caught up from the recent sale which was very busy.
Once it ships it is usually 3-5 days (it has traditionally been quicker for me - I am in NH) as long as there are no snafus with customs. It is much better than a few years ago but customs still has hiccups every now and again.
We hope you stick around. Please introduce yourself here

Thanks for the reply. I'm not worried, I have just heard horror stories about DHL. I didn't realize that just had a sale. I guess I'm super excited to get the watch. I need to relax lol.

It used to be much worse before CW started paying duty on your behalf. It should be a smooth transaction and you should hear something shortly I would expect.

Ordered on Jan 23 and still waiting
It's been almost 2 weeks and haven't received the watch yet. A week ago I sent them a message asking for a timeline and they said 1-2 days and it would ship. Almost a week later, nothing. I've never had this experience with any other brand. I ordered a Sealander 36. It better be worth it.

Sorry to hear of your frustration. What is the status of your order in your account of the CW website?Jim77 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 10:25 pm It's been almost 2 weeks and haven't received the watch yet. Maybe, as per our How to. . . . topic, try contacting CW's Customer Service Manager, Matt Thomas, who may be reached at Matthew.Thomas@christopherward.co.uk

Re: Watch Order and Delivery
That's good news. What though was your original order for?
If it included an item that was on pre-order, say watch on bracelet plus an extra strap and the bracelet is on pre-order, then the whole order will be delayed until it can be fulfilled completely. CW does not ship part orders with pre-order items to follow.

Re: Watch Order and Delivery
I ordered a 36mm Sealander with the Bader Bracelet.
They are shipping it with a strap until the Bracelets come in. It was in stock when I ordered it. The strap will hold me over.
The watch will be delivered by Tuesday.

Re: Watch Order and Delivery
I've placed my order on the watch from Sale section on 12 March, send a customer support email on 15th and still no one got back to me.
One of the worst customer experiences of my last decade of online shopping.

Re: Watch Order and Delivery
When placing your order did you get a Confirmation email back?
Also, when you sent your Customer Support email did you get an acknowledgement back along the lines;-
Your enquiry (123456) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff.
We aim to reply to all queries within 72 hours. Please note, we routinely receive a high volume of support requests so these timings may vary.
Our working hours are 9am-5pm GMT. We do not operate on weekends.
If you haven't already, please take a look at our Customer Support page by clicking the following link:
https://www.christopherward.com/customer-services.html
Here you will find information about our 60:60 guarantee, how to initiate a return or refund request, and all of our FAQs.
To add additional comments, reply to this email.
Depending on when on March 15th you sent your enquiry, you may still be within the 72 hours window for CW to reply (remember weekends don't count).

Re: Watch Order and Delivery
Yes, I did get a confirmation email.
I am not fighting the reality and yeah, I read the email and tried to do the math with 72 hours.
My points is that reaching the state when you calculate what’s wrong and if you need to worry for the second time is bad user experience.

^^^^ Okay, that's fair enough.
What was the nature of your enquiry to Customer Service on the 15th? Maybe we here on the Forum will be able to help you.

Re: Watch Order and Delivery
This is very kind, thanks Guy
My question was related to my account on the website. I expected to see my placed order there so I can see updates or tracking whenever it is shipped and I didn’t find it there. I have no orders placed according to my account.

Re: Watch Order and Delivery
@atmamont did you log in before you made the order? I've seen the same thing, where unless I logged in first the order doesn't seem to link up to my account.
As Guy has said, if you've got the confirmation email you can be confident that they are working on it - with ongoing sale activity I think their timelines for getting watches out the door are sadly delayed (and as mentioned above, they seem to mainly work Monday to Friday).
You should get a dispatch email once it's with the courier that will include a tracking link.
