Watch Collection

Post by Lonescout »

I believe that my watch collection is now complete!
A dive watch and a GMT watch, fulfilled by a Trident Pro 600 MkIII GMT
A dress watch, The Twelve Basalt
A modern Tudor and a field watch, fulfilled by a Tudor Heritage Ranger
A vintage dress watch, 1962 9ct gold Tudor Royal
A tool watch, Stirling Durant Black
A couple of pocket watches, one Victorian silver with a fusee movement, the other a 1970s Royal Navy issue non luminous
and lastly a bronze watch, Trident Pro 600 Bronze first iteration
Few enough watches that they each get some decent wrist time, with the exception of the two dress watches - they are for special occasions.
I have many more straps than watches, however, which is great for changing the look/mood of the watch.
So, like I said, my collection is complete..................................... for now...

I respect your surety and confidence but....

are you sure you can't justify a chrono?

Might one of those new mineral faced Baltics add another facet to your collection! I know I'm thinking along those lines after @Bahnstormer_vRS posted up a visit to their London showroom.

… for now. But do you have a red dial? How about heat blued screws? Anything gem-set? Gold is nice, but rose gold, white gold, platinum? How about a pilot’s watch? I think you have some thinking to do. ;) :p

@Lonescout

Unlike the “enablers” I applaud your fulfilling the categories you want with as little repetition as possible.

Well done, that man.

To be fair both my Trident Pro 600 GMT and Heritage Ranger run well within COSC specs so, at the moment, I have no justification.
That may change as my GMT is currently with CW for a service and misaligned GMT hand fault, we'll see what the time keeping is like upon its return...

I thought I was done. But bought an additional watch box instead.
