I've sold a watch via the forum which was bought by Ward Hoard and had a very easy transaction and good outcome.

Based on that I'd have no hesitation buying from Ward Hoard too.

I've not actually bought from him (Dan) but enquired recently about a fairly rare CW and he was prompt to respond and provide details. The website comments about each watch are good descriptions.

I'd be happy to buy from him for a watch I wanted.

I have sold 2 watches to him, he was very easy to deal with, reasonable with prices and prompt with payment once he had taken delivery and inspected the watches, i would not hesitate to deal with him again.

Dan is also a member of the forum @Renton

You might be able to reach out to him directly here if you are interested in anything. I don't have any first hand experience but there is nothing ventured nothing gained by sending a message.

Dan is a solid guy - met him in person (and his dog!). Ward Hoard itself has some really nice examples (but probably not the place for the every day ones, you can find them cheaper on here I think). My 2 cents.

How long would you say the sales process took, from the time you shipped the watch until you received payment?

While I’ve not yet transacted with Dan/Ward Hoard, he seems very personable from the interactions I’ve had with him.

Always seemed friendly and enthusiastic about CW. A keen collector and trader, with an honest approach.

If I remember correctly, he had the watches delivered on the Wednsday, and he paid me on the Friday, so it was quick.

I have sold/bought from Dan many times now and he is a good chap, always goes out of his way to help, as mad about watches as us, avid West Ham fan which some will hold against him  but has always been fair in our negotiations.

Buy with confidence.

I’d forgotten all about this , but I sent a submission form about selling a watch a couple of times and didn’t receive any reply. Didn’t give it any further thought and presumed he just wasn’t interested (I’ve bought from Ward Hoard before and the experience has been top notch...). But it did seem a bit strange not to get a quick ‘no thanks’ message...

Is there any other way to contact him on his website? Or you could PM him @Renton on the forum. I’m just not sure how often he visits here...
