Thanks for the heads up, just left my comment to enter. It'd be well worth paying the customs charges if you win.

I was about to part with mine until I put the leather strap on, which makes it look very smart.

Re: W&W C60 Trident Review
Looking at Trident reviews on Google I found this rather negative one. Looks like he was trying to find anything negative about it he could. Shows him, his review and pictures actually got me even more excited about the C61. I personally don't care whether it's a Sellita or ETA. CW does indeed need to work on their QC issues especially in America, as I would know. After two faulty Makairas and a headache, they stepped up inspection and I got a good one and I look forward to my next CW. S**t happens, I wasn't gonna completely write off the company lol. His opinion on the bracelet quality echos some others though.

Well he was definitely unimpressed!Deverica Wolf wrote:Looking at Trident reviews on Google I found this rather negative one. Looks like he was trying to find anything negative about it he could. Re: W&W C60 Trident Review
If you look at his other reviews, you'll see what he's comparing it to. And personally I think he has a point. I own a blue C60, the 2nd one really. The first one I got I ended up sending back because of many of the same issues that the reviewer wrote about. Bracelet was nearly impossible to size. One end of the bracelet was incredibly difficult to fit to the watch (like 20 minutes worth of bending the spring bar to seat in the lug holes). A bracelet realease clasp that felt cheaply constructed (rattly, even when applying tension to it) and suffers from a design flaw (diver's extension that interferes with several of the micro adjust holes). The play in the bezel (mentioned in the Worn & Wound review as well).highway62 wrote:Well he was definitely unimpressed!
In the end I decided that I loved the look of the electric blue dial, so I shipped that one back and exchanged it for one on a strap. It's not without flaws (still a bit of play in the bezel, though not as much as the first one), but good enough to where the looks outweigh the flaws.
At the $500-600 price level where it's at, the build quality of the watch IMO needs to be a bit better. But it is a fantastic looking piece, there's no denying that.
