I believe that CW deduct VAT when invoicing but does anyone know how or if Australian duty is applied.
Cheers.

Re: VAT.
I posted this recently in answer to a similar question from a new USA member;-
Australian Sales Tax / Import Duty/ VAT is applied on arrival in Australia by DHL, on behalf of the relevant authorities, and invoiced to you for payment (usually before delivery).
I hope this helps.

If you are looking at the UK website of CW the prices shown in GBP include VAT at 20%.
Having selected an item/watch and put it 'in your bag', go to 'checkout', log in with your account details or proceed as a guest, you then get to 'Shipping' with United Kingdom selected by default.
If you change the shipping to another country, United States in your case, you will see the prices reduce by 20% to the ex-VAT level.
If you are looking at the USA version of the website with prices in USD I believe the prices are automatically shown ex-VAT.
I hope this helps.

Re: VAT.
Guy is absolutely correct re Australian deliveries, though I will add that GST and clearance fees are most definitely payable *before* delivery.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:Australian Sales Tax / Import Duty/ VAT is applied on arrival in Australia by DHL, on behalf of the relevant authorities, and invoiced to you for payment (usually before delivery).
GST is payable for any delivery with a value (including delivery costs) of $1,000 or higher.
