Re: Unannounced Clearance sale?
Right, I think I've accidently bought 2 Nordic Blue Twelves (blue rubber) and 2 Green 40mm C60 300s (black/orange hybrid).
Didn't get the normal acknowledgment page for the first pair, so re-purchased thinking it hadn't processed as they were still available.
I've had 2 watches delivered to work today believing it was 1 of each, but turns out it's 2 Twelves.
I'm now fully expecting 2 C60s to turn up on the mat at some point.
If this happens to be the case, there should be at least 1 of each of these models available if anyone is interested here.

Re: Unannounced Clearance sale?
So many lovely watches. Prior to the start of the January sale I had four watches on my wish list. I picked up the C63 Sealander Elite during the January sale (I see it is up again) and then in this iteration of the sale grabbed the C60 Pro 300 Bronze (brown ombré dial). That was two of the four.
I'm desperately hoping the other 2 don't show up: C63 Sealander GMT with green dial (it was available during the January sale) or a C65 Dune GMT.
Also interested in the C60 Lympstone (also available during the January sale).
Now I'm sitting here staring at the Twelve Ti in aurora green thinking 'hmm, that's a good looking watch and the $500 CAD off is pretty sweet". Then I remember I'm married and the C60 isn't even in the house yet. Might be better to see what comes available in the summer sale.

Re: Unannounced Clearance sale?
Bought four watches in the past two months (two CW's but not from the sale) and have my eye on a potential further acquisition or two once I've sold a few watches. Some nice pieces still appearing and great people are still getting the opportunity to pick up watches but my resolve must stick and my mantra remain as:
Must stop checking this thread and the CW Clearance page. Must stop checking this thread and the CW Clearance page. Must stop checking this thread and the CW Clearance page...

Re: Unannounced Clearance sale?
Talk about perseverance. Finally, a whole 6 weeks after the sale began, I managed to order a black 36mm C63 GMT!

Re: Unannounced Clearance sale?
Thank you Steve, and I wholeheartedly agree! I've owned the 39mm which looked a smidge large on me, so I'm hoping this one works!
It's just a perfect everyday watch for me, and I've put off ordering one for a few months in the hope that one appeared in the sale.

Re: Unannounced Clearance sale?
My unannounced clearance purchase arrived today.
It’s the CW canvas strap and I now know what happens to Bremonts temple island straps when they die. They are recycled in CW canvas straps.
Stiff? I think I sprained my wrist trying to shape it onto some sort or curve.

Bracelet for my C60 Sunrise arrived at lunchtime today; only ordered on Friday evening at 40% off in the Clearance.
Delivered by DHL Express within 2hr time slot; previously been DPD. Wonder if it's a permanent switch.

Re: Unannounced Clearance sale?
Stick with it, I’ve had a couple including one bought in the sale. They soften up quite quickly with a bit of wear and also if kept on a watch roll. Personally I think they look great on a ‘field’ watch and I’ve had both of mine on Sealanders.

CW generally makes great straps, but this is by far the worst I've owned.iain wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 6:41 pm My unannounced clearance purchase arrived today.

Just horrible. Feels like they've used a plastic ruler as filling.
Life is far too short for an uncomfortable watch strap.

Re: Unannounced Clearance sale?
I need to find another hobby because I am worried this one is taking over my life or at least this part of the hobby: refreshing the CW Sale/Clearance page 37 times a day. My wife got up before 5:00am EST to go for a run so obviously I went to check the clearance page and found these:
- C65 Dartmouth Series 1 - Nearly New
- C60 Chronograph - Nearly New
I love a good chrono as much as the next person but unfortunately my 50+ year old eyes cannot read the dial even with my reading glasses. And no, a new RX is not the issue. The text on all chronos is just too darn small for me so I purchased the Dartmouth Series 1 COSC - NN.

Re: Unannounced Clearance sale?
^^^ As recently as 2-3 months ago I sent an enquiry to CWL regarding the C60 Chronograph aka Bumblebeast to ask, despite it being discontinued, whether there might be one or two lurking anywhere in the company. I was told no, so it's interesting that one or two seem to have popped up in this sale afterwards.
Thankfully I think I might have a lead elsewhere on one...
