Collection in person and cash when happy is the way to go. It might just be a good deal, but assume and prepare for the worst until proven otherwise

I'm not for a 4 hour/290 miles each way jaunt for a £200 watch. But, yes, wherever possible.

It's easy to imagine the seller wanting cash for their own reasons.

The Facebook listing has gone, the seller's profile has been thinned out significantly. The EBay listing? Gone. Time to think about a different CW classic watch quite possibly with 7750 movement and a repeat ownership experience? Maybe.....

I thought they were "commenting" rather than "moaning" ?

^^^ More recent comments have been constructive, including yours, but there was an element of moaning earlier.

Yes I know it: family in Utah and Wyoming so "close enough". I think for the right watch I'd have said let's go for a drive.
