Now it's my time to congratulate you on the yellow mako. It's a wonderful watch for a terrific person. Hope you enjoy it as much as you can, my friend

It's always worth saving for that special watch
That you want, because you know you will
Get it in the end and it will be worn with pride through
All the blood and sweat of your hard labour!

Freg, how far away are your watches? Looking forward to more pics and your thoughts on the Mako.

Isn't waiting great?

Hi James,

The Mako is being posted Monday from the US so not too long I'd say.
The C8 will take a lot longer sadly, as it won't be available for a while yet.

Time for an update :
Firstly I'd like to thank a few people for all their help with this, Lance (Viognier) in particular, Luiz, Greg (golfjunky10) and Lego (Jon).
You have all been so helpful and nice ;-)
I have never been offered sooooo many watches !!!!
I have bought the modified Yellow Mako from Lance and was very much unplanned ! But I'm thrilled about it and looking forward to it's arrival :-)
I have a deal done for a C8 but circumstances outside the sellers control have meant that this could/will be a long time away so I was on to plan B.
I have purchased a C10 from the US :-) :-) :-)
With the incredibly kind help and assistance from Lance, it's on it's way across the world at the moment ;-)
The C10 has always been a true favourite of mine since it was released and I am over the moon to have been very lucky to have finally got one :-)
So I started out looking for one watch and ended up with 2 watches !
And just after I bought the C10, my local friend who has the C8 MK1 Cream dial had a change of heart and offered that to me also !!!!
That will have to wait though as my watch fund for 2014 has been desimated lol
So again Thank You everyone for your support and help along the way.
I only have one space in my CW Trieste watch case now......! :-)

Nice one Ferg! Starting looking for one and ending up with two sounds a familiar story! :)

And nice one to Lance too, one of the always-helpful good guys on this forum.

Ferg - thank you for the kind words and thrilled I could assist with the C10 acqusition. I'm absolutely thrilled you are giving the yellow Mako a quality home !

Steve Also thank you for your generous comment - much appreciated.

Well they have both arrived, sent as one package, in Dublin this Monday 25th.
