Trusted Seller
June 11, 2021
The Admin Team is today introducing The CW Forum Trusted Seller badge. We feel that this will instill greater confidence for those that are considering a Sales Corner purchase from these members.
The qualifications for this elite status are very simple.
1.- Forum Membership in good standing of 1 year minimum.
2.- Must have made contributory posts within past 90 days of application outside of the Sales Corner.
3.- 400 minimum posts.
4.- 4 Completed Sales (minimum)
5.- 1/2 positive sales qty. feedback that has been posted in the “Feedback on Seller” areas. (minimum)
6 - Character/contribution judgement approval by Admin Team
Trusted Seller status can be revoked at any time at the sole discretion of the Admin Team, for conduct, poor feedback, delayed transaction completion or lack of, forum rules violations or change in character/contributory status.
We have already evaluated the member list, posts and had discussions to find who should be awarded the initial “Trusted Seller” badges. These badges will be “Awarded” over the next few days.
Moving forward, the Admin Team will periodically review member status for future Trusted Seller Awards.
If you would like to display the Trusted Seller badge and feel you qualify now, or in the future, you may request consideration of the “Trusted Seller” status to any member of the Admin Team. The Admin Team will research and discuss your case and respond asap.
We would remind you that the Sales Corner is both a buyer and seller beware area. We do what we can to offer, as much as possible, a safe place for you to buy and sell. However, there is little we can do if a transaction goes bad other than try to prevent it from happening again.
The display of the “Trusted Seller” icon is not an endorsement of the seller by the Christopher Ward Forum, The Admin Team, Christopher Ward London, Christopher Ward Holdings or related affiliates. The “Trusted Seller” Icon is awarded to those that have met the requirements posted above. It is showing that these members have proven trustworthy in the past and is not a future judgement of transactions.
We also encourage you to leave feedback after a transaction has been completed. This will help both buyers and sellers involved in future transactions.

Re: Trusted Seller
Nice idea! The badge does stick out like a sore thumb when browsing the forum though (bright colour, large and circular), is it set in stone or would sensible alternatives be welcome?

This is really helpful. The feedback is out there, but this makes it really easy and will save a lot of time.

Well done to the Admin team for coming up with and implementing this.
A great addition for us members.

It is a great idea....and well done for implementing it.
Could the badge be made smaller on mobile browsers though? It being the same size a an avatar on a separate line becomes overpowering and consumes a large amount of space.

If you use Tapatalk on your mobile, you don't see the icon at all.gannet wrote:It is a great idea....and well done for implementing it.

Thanks,
I don't want or need another app on my phone to view a web page though...
I can live with it but I don't see that it's necessary to be so big, especially as I also choose to use a smaller phone.

Re: Trusted Seller
Great addition! Well done. You mods really do put a lot of effort into this forum. Much appreciated.

Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

Re: Trusted Seller
Same here, it's quite big with two or three of them shown in a thread. It seems odd to make it such a prominent thing when buying/selling isn't the main purpose of the forum...gannet wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 9:41 amBahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 9:23 amIf you use Tapatalk on your mobile, you don't see the icon at all.gannet wrote:It is a great idea....and well done for implementing it.
