I guess the badge is aimed at new members who are looking for reassurance. Being someone who has never sold a watch but has been a member off and on for years I would be seen as risky.TheBeatles wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 10:09 amThat’s certainly my thoughts.
I’ve bought from various long standing members, and all without exception have been true gents.

Re: Trusted Seller
What a really great idea and does indeed give a bit of reassurance for those coming in and not knowing (yet) the reputations of some of the forum members
Unfortunately, for me to get one, I’d have to sell something, which I (currently) have no plans to do

Re: Trusted Seller
Good upgrade. Thanks to the Mods for putting in the work to implement the change.
That said it is though an approach whereby you end up selling to someone that you know, rather than a random!

I’ve done the same myself from time to time. I seem to remember selling a certain yellow dive watch relatively recently.TigerChris wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 2:28 am Makes me wish I’d have advertised the watches I’ve sold rather than doing deals ‘off forum’ - I’ve even sold to moderators in off forum deals and still don’t have a badge

Great idea, I particularly appreciate that the criteria is thoughtful, well articulated, and transparent.

Re: Trusted Seller
Good move, mods and admins! While this badge seems a good idea, generally, I’ve not yet had a problem with purchasing from any members here. Knock on wood, I hope it stays that way.

Re: Trusted Seller
That must have been quite a trawl through the members list! Well done, I think it's a good idea.
There's always time for one more.
Re: Trusted Seller
Great idea, and really appreciate the consideration by the admins to give some assurance to potential buyers, and recognise members of the forum who are making positive contributions. I've bought through here and CWE and it'll help to build the community further. But I do wonder, is the 400 posts relative to being a trusted seller?

Re: Trusted Seller
Yes it is....but it is far from the only criteria. It is a combination of the qualifying factors with each having it's own significance.
