It's a less-shiny green than the Aquitaine, which, incidentally, made its way back to CW on the same DHL van that brought the Trident. No surprise there. The steel inner bezel is a great little subtle design feature. The screw links are much easier to use than the two-screw Aquitaine system. I have no other thoughts on the bracelet. I am neither scandalized nor more impressed than with other bracelets. It wears nicely on the wrist, good heft but not heavy. I prefer the Aquitaine for dressier occasions, maybe, and this one for every day wear. I dunno. Too soon to say for sure. Neither replaces the other in my mind. Totally different aesthetics.jkbarnes wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 7:00 pmInitial thoughts? I’m hoping there’s a short review in the works. I’d especially like to hear how you think it compares to the Aquitaine. Same shade of green?NationOfLaws wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 6:43 pm C887352C-3BC8-4F4E-82B7-175CD760D056.jpeg15BA8350-327B-4415-9EE6-452A6F5D8D16.jpegA05F56BE-B5A4-4D4E-A723-5A1BFE420316.jpeg
EDITED TO ADD: …and how it stacks up to the C63.
The orange arrow for the second pointer is much smaller than the orange pointer on the C63s, so no confusion between seconds and GMT. The C63, for me, is a totally different beast so it's an apples-to-oranges comparison. I will say that this one wears larger. No surprise there: this is the 40mm and I have 38mm C63s.
