Has anyone experienced that before or know what it indicates? :-k I'm guessing it has to do with the bracelet not being in stock so the watch is being held until it arrives to be assembled, packed and shipped. Does that seem like a reasonable assumption? TIA
Yes, i think this is spot on! Exact same thing with my Sealander 36, and an email from customer services confirmed bracelet to be the issue/hold up.

I am also thinking about the white. I posted when the Aquitaine came out I did not like the twin flags only and did not think I would consider another CW. But, I was wrong. I think this watch looks amazing and the twin flags is growing on me. I think it is just the style of the Aquitaine that bothered me. The more I see the twin flags only, the more I like it.

Now we can compare the two, am I right in thinking that the Atoll had the same thin S/S inner ring around the bezel, or is the treatment actually slightly different?

Rolex do make their own bracelets.

No; the Atoll has the same steel bezel as the C60 Sapphire models.

The Trident Pro 300 has the same (size to be confirmed) steel ring as on the C60 #Tide.

The CWArchive - search - C60 is your friend.

Are you sure about Rolex? I thought they bought Gay Frères so they could bring bracelet manufacturing in-house.
Not my words, you'll have to ask @Welshlad or MF
I don't know if Rolex own their bracelet manufacturer/supplier or not. The point I was relaying was that Mike said different suppliers make the bracelets for Rolex and Tudor, to different quality standards, even though Rolex and Tudor are part of the same overall group. And Mike feels that the CW bracelet is made to a higher standard than the Tudor ones.

Changed your mind?

I thought you were disappointed that the C60 Trident Pro 300 is not manual (hand wound) but automatic, and wouldn't be buying for this reason. :-k :-k

As far as I am aware Gay Freres, founded in 1835, have supplied watch bracelets to virtually all the major watch brands since the 1940s including VC, PP and AP along with Rolex.

In 1998 Rolex bought the Company.

Anyway, not sure what relevance that has here to the Trident 300 so sorry to have butted in.

I have a small wrist, the black looks nice but I wish the green or blue was also available in 38. :(

No, the strap size on the 38mm & 40mm is 20mm with a 22mm strap on the 42mm.
I see the 20mm bracelet tapers down to 16.5mm at the clasp. Am I correct in assuming the 22mm tapers down to 18.5mm?

On the Aquitaine, the bracelet tapers from 22mm down to 16.5mm at the clasp, so I imagine it's the same here. In my opinion, the taper looks good on the Aquitaine, so I would say don't be concerned about it here.

IIRC i said imo it should have been manual, I did not say i would or wouldn't buy for any reasons.

Having watched the video promo on their website, I do have a question to ask: did we the forum actually want a clear case back?

I could have sworn the general feeling on that thread was that there was no point having a clear back unless the movement was very prettily decorated.

I think your right but i also think MF is right when he said that newbies want to see the movement.
