With reference to the bracelet, comparisons like best, most comfortable, most beautiful and so on are non-quantifiable and therefore subjective. Companies have always made these claims and always will. What do you choose to accept the claim or agree with it is down to you. I don’t recall anyone on YouTube lining up a bunch of high end bracelets, but I wouldn’t put it past some of them.

I don’t see how it is possible to check it. As I said, it’s a subjective statement.

he may do some good things but.....Some of the hyperbole that he comes out with is just vomit inducing and some people on here swallow it. I agree that the 'kept in the dark' bit is wrong but it was the first pg phrase that i could think of to express my thoughts.

I would also have liked the option of a black face and coloured bezel like the C60 300 range from 5 or 6 years ago.
The 300 is a good looking watch and if I didn't already have a blue Sealander auto maybe I would have bought a blue dial 300 but as it is I'll stick to my Sealander.

I think CW could have been a bit bolder with the initial colour options though to make this version a bit more "unique", with some other colours (e.g. a pastel blue rather than the green/blue of the Lucerne 36mm Sealander) or mixing dial and bezel colours e.g. white dial with green bezel, white dial with blue bezel.

300 vs 600 - Is a £65 difference sufficient for somebody to choose the 300 over the existing 600?

CEO hypes his product. More news at 11.

The CW bracelets are great at the price point and great even compared to some higher price points. Always view a company person’s point of view on their own product with some skepticism. This isn’t some vast conspiracy to make you buy watches. Maybe get outside go play some golf, man.

Greg, with the greatest of respect, it might be an idea for you to attend these preview meetings directly in future, so you can hear exactly what Mike says. Some of his statements lose some nuance when they are relayed later on and can then provoke a reaction they don't deserve.

My take on his comments on the bracelet were that they listened to criticism of Aquitaine bracelet, worked hard with their suppliers to come up with an improved solution and insisted on some high quality tolerances to do this. They looked at what Rolex and Tudor do and, in his opinion, the solution they have come up with is inspired by what Rolex do but not quite up to their quality threshold, but that it is ahead of what Tudor do - in his opinion, as I say. But this is based on knowing the suppliers who provide bracelets for Rolex and Tudor - they are different and working to different quality thresholds.

In the end, it's his opinion and it's a subjective claim - and we should expect him to be a little "sunny-side up" on this as the CEO. But he did at least explain the rationale for his view.
