I think zenith is also part of the same group, and despite some exceedingly ugly watches (I'm looking at you, Defy range), their El primero movement and watches command quite a good following. So I wouldn't be so quick to write off a brand owned by a luxury goods Conglomerate.

If you haven't seen the Defy watches yet, here it is... Like a graham mated with an invictus.

My first real watch I got from my dad on my 21st birthday was a tag aquaracer (quartz) and I'll treasure it forever, but i dont think I'll ever buy another of their watches.... Especially that copy cat F1 gmt.

That is butt ugly! I would not be seen dead with some like that on my wrist!
