Re: January Sale - 2025
The website needs to catch up as it is still showing lots of things that have already been sold.
At least CWL is known for adding stuff over the next few days after sale launch so maybe something else cool will show up and I'll grab it.

Re: January Sale - 2025
I picked up a XII 36mm, which was great, just hoping it’s got the micro adjustment, or it might be going straight back.
But I had a similar issue - the Sealander 36 with the mulberry dial was in the sale, but only with Bader, rather than Consort. Otherwise it would have been an instant purchase. But can’t help what stock is available!
Re: January Sale - 2025
Yep, we’ve all been there-greyed out normally means sold out but not taken down quickly enough in the mad rush. Keep an eye out in the next few days as sale is normally topped up.

Decent selection though and congrats to those who got what they were after. I wasn’t looking for anything mind you but couldn’t resist temptation to look-fortunate nothing took my fancy! Might dip back in tomorrow to see what gets added…
Spotted a good few Bel Cantos and wondered if some were returns that were replaced with the Classic!

That markup is insanity. I've been Googling trying to get an idea on how much I'll be charged and can't really find an accurate answer. Now I'm little worried.ABW wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 4:28 pmSo close but so far for me. They have exactly the sealander I'm after but it's still £10 too expensive and will hit the duty limit which adds $400 in duty and GST coming into the country. Damn. So very very close.MomentsNotice wrote:This will be my first time paying the DHL duty fee. I paid in Pounds with a no FTF card and it converted right to $810. So close!

When I bought my Abyss three years ago the total was under $800.

SOLD, will be removed soon.MichaelMD wrote:Ok stupid question. Trying to purchase a strap. The "Add To Bag" button is sort of greyed out and not working. Can I assume it is sold and just hasn't been removed from the sale page yet for some reason?

Enter your USA address, VAT will be removed, and the Delivery Duty Paid price for your address will be displayed.

Re: January Sale - 2025
Import duty is around 8-10% or so. It varies depending on the watch and materials used so it is kind of a moving target but 8-10% is in the general area. Also note that it is levied on the total cost. Not just the portion above $800.MomentsNotice wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 4:47 pmThat markup is insanity. Re: January Sale - 2025
Read my recent post on how to purchase a Trident Pro 300 (over $800 even on strap) by paying in pounds. It gets you under the $800 limit if you are willing to use a credit card that does currency conversion for you but does not charge a fee. It works for several watches and many in the sale.MomentsNotice wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 4:47 pmThat markup is insanity. Re: January Sale - 2025
Most sold items cleared out. Down to 62 items left. I think they started at almost 300. Hoping more gets added in the next few days.
Would really like to see another "new" LE like they did in the last sale.

Re: January Sale - 2025
Surprised to see both pool blue Trident 300s still available (40 & 42). I nearly picked up the 42 but since I already have the same watch in bronze it seemed redundant. Neat color though.
