Re: January Sale - 2025
@nbg I can completely understand that side too. I suppose at the end of the day everyone just wants their watches as soon as possible!
I actually did order a non sale watch since the start of the sale. Ordered on the 20th, dispatched today. I was told it would be the end of last week, but I'm in the camp of not being fussed about a few extra days' wait, which in any case can be minor relative to customs delays. Just excited for it to arrive.

I post a few watch pictures now and then to a little Instagram account - 16 followers and counting!

Re: January Sale - 2025
Hmmm, not sure about that one.nbg wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 4:10 pm I have ordered neither a sale watch or a non sale watch since the start of the sale.
However I would take a different view…
If I had ordered a new watch, say a newly released Dune at full price, I would not be pleased if sale items were shipped before non sale items.
To be specific I think that non sale items sold at RRP should be given priority.
Neil
Let's say you were stood in the queue at Holland Cooper with a handsomely discounted, double-breasted jacket in hand, and the cashier keeps allowing all the "full price" customers to jump in front of you.
You're paying what they're asking, so not sure there is a case to be treated differently.

I am going through this now. I received the despatch email notification that had an entirely different order number than the order number supplied when I placed the order.akirk wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 3:43 pmAnyway, I have finally received despatch notification for the watch / second part of the watch and straps I bought in the sale on the 8th of January. Still communication is poor - the despatch note gives no clue as to what is being sent... when you then click on the link it comes up saying order number xxxxxxx has been delivered - it is only when you dig deeper that it shows that part 1 has been delivered and part 2 is being dispatched - and now lists it as one part of 2 which previously was not noted on that order.
*checks account status, wonders WTH is going on, emails CS for an explanation*
As someone who deals with logistics, the only thing that makes sense is the billing order number may be different than the pick ticket order number, but somehow, when the email goes out, it sends out the internal pick ticket number.
CW CS has to be bombarded with "WTH is this!?" questions they would not have to deal with if the system was correct and would spit out the billing order number to the buyer.
The growing pains of an expanding business.

Re: January Sale - 2025
My "nearly new" strap arrived yesterday. I wasn't thrilled with the look of this one when they released the watch but I have to say on the wrist I really like it. Definitely gives it a new look and it's very comfortable. Good change-of-pace strap. This is now the 4th strap I have for this watch. This hobby is a disease I swear!

My hybrid blue strap arrived the other week. Got it on my white dial TP300. Gives it a nice little colour change.

Re: January Sale - 2025
Welp, I'm going to have to return my Sealander for a checkup as it doesn't appear to be winding the power reserve when worn.
It's stopped a couple times now overnight after being worn for a few days continuously. I thought maybe the power reserve itself was the problem, but I've hand wound it and the watch ran for over 50 hours before stopping. Putting it on from a stop I couldn't get the watch running after 20 minutes of movement until I really started swinging my arm.
Yesterday I put it on in the morning, had plenty of activity throughout the day, and took it off around midnight. It stopped around 3:30 in the morning. I'm bummed.
So what's the return process like? Mainly from a packing perspective? Any tips will be appreciated.

Re: January Sale - 2025
In my experience, they will send you a DHL label but DHL wants to inspect the package before it is sealed. As such, I drop it off at a DHL location so they can inspect it and then I can seal it. I take lots of pictures of the sealed package showing the return label so if any funny business happens on the way back I have proof that it was not me. I use the original box and packaging.MomentsNotice wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 2:50 pm So what's the return process like? Mainly from a packing perspective? Any tips will be appreciated.

Sorry to hear you have an issue with your Sealander.MomentsNotice wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 2:50 pm . . . . . . .

Returns packaging? Follow the instructions that CW will send you. Use the original packaging plus extra for the DHL label.
Photos etc., as suggested by @nycWATCHnerd are always a good move.

Re: January Sale - 2025
Howdy all, new to the forum. I assume I cannot post new topics for a period of time, this is fine.
Whilst Googling for this thread I stumbled across a "clearance page" that seems to be quite live. https://www.christopherward.com/int/sale
Pricing seems fairly similar to the January sale prices on items. Needless to say I was quite surprised to find the items there given the sale only ended a short while ago. Thoughts?
