January Sale - 2025
Re: January Sale - 2025
My experience, which was as a first time purchaser, was placing an order on the 8th. Receiving an order confirmation at 1508 on the 8th and then shipment following on the 16th.
I followed the majority advice on here to stay patient and I didn't send any communications to chase up.
It was worth the minor wait!

Re: January Sale - 2025
My sale purchase arrived. Ordered on the 9th, so took a bit longer than past sale purchases but was well worth the wait. I finally picked up the titanium bracelet for my Sealander elite after almost 2 years. Nearly new, but looks brand new to me. How did I ever go without it?

Agreed, not worth emailing unless a month passes by.Wathass wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 7:07 pm My experience, which was as a first time purchaser, was placing an order on the 8th. Receiving an order confirmation at 1508 on the 8th and then shipment following on the 16th.

My first strap is out for delivery, hoping the other three straps and the watch they will fit are following soon.
Hopefully will be all the sweeter when it arrives, it’s been a long 2 weeks and a day!

Re: January Sale - 2025
Wooooooo. New watch day. I think that a few of these must have been in stock, because the Peach Twelve remained available until the end of the sale, well after I’d placed my order. First impressions… it’s lovely. Sometimes pinky, sometimes red. I hope that this has satisfied my yearning for a pink watch. It’s comfortable on both strap and bracelet - the micro adjust is definitely going to be useful.
Started with the rubber band. It’s massive; my wrists are tiny, so I had to use the last hole. Bracelet great, but would need 6 links removing, so also massive!

Re: January Sale - 2025
No, it was for a Dune watch ordered from the sale. I understand the Moonglow was a pre-order for March.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 6:25 pmIs this for the C1 Moonglow in Celestial Blue that you posted about before?Massman64 wrote:Shipping confirmation delay
I ordered and received confirmation on the day of the sale but am still waiting on any shipping confirmation of the watch. My inquiries to Christopher Ward have gone unanswered to this point other than the robo email. Anyone else having this issue?
It was on pre-order, wasn't it?

Re: January Sale - 2025
Ordered as sale went live watch/strap combo, so that was the 8th, made further order 15th.
Emailed last Sunday, response in 48 hours, dispatch yesterday, guess what it wasn’t…..! Hopefully I will get an email asking me comment and review their response, which will not be favourable.
Do I expect it - No,
Am I tempted to cancel - yes
Will I complain - yes
Will I visit the showroom to look at the watches - yes, and I will tell them what I think, some really nice watches, but you should stop running round the country and get your orders dispatched ( yes I hate desptach )……

That's useful, thank you. I'll have to cross the Twelve off as an option for my next orange watch.

Re: January Sale - 2025
Sorry Ryan. By the time I got to "strapp" I think there were 2 choices, and clearly my pudgy finger picked the wrong one. I will go back and edit the original. Pleased it gave you a chuckle anyway.

Re: January Sale - 2025
Although I said I was not going to post any more, I wonder how I managed to acquire a NN watch that had been personally engraved (I assume)

Waiting is a frustration, I would have felt better if they stated that delays are to be expected at sale times.
I am awaiting a GMT Sealander ordered on first day of the sale, but have had a consent bracelet delivered and 2 straps now with dpd to be delivered today.
I’m just staying relaxed and keep ruminating on my next watch purchase, possibly a lumiere in blue.
