I received confirmation email for both. When entering the order number, email and postcode into the site to check status it shows the error message 'Sorry this order number, email or postal code does not match our records. Check your records and try again..' Is it quite likely the order hasn't gone through somehow, or should the initial confirmation email I received give me confidence that they're working on it and there's a mistake someplace else in the system?

*The 2nd order which was logged on my account looks fine and is being prepped.

I sent them an email earlier today to ask if the order was received ok but understandably no reply as of yet, and as I probably wont get a response until next week I'm just seeing if I can get some piece of mind from on here.
After I have placed an order I have never logged into my account to check progress. I have also generally don’t bother to log into my account to place an order, even at sale time. I have always received the items that I have ordered, as confirmed by the order confirmation emails.

@Grazuli

If you got a confirmation I'm sure you will be ok. Did you type the post code in exactly correctly. Same capitalisation and spacing?

Has your payment been taken yet. That would be a good sign, although that may not show until the watch ships.

Good luck..

So, for two days, my order (Non-sale placed on the10th) has been showing as dispatched without a shipping method. So, no tracking, no message from DPD and a deep trough in the carpet from my pacing up and down.
Today, out of the blue, DPD deliver my order:
IMG_4410.jpg
Only one slight glitch; I ordered the black leather strap not the brown.
I did want the brown and so I ordered one, in the sale, yesterday.
As I don't want 2 brown leather straps and I do want a black one, I've sent a request to CW to see if they can swap yesterday's order over.
Fingers crossed
EVENING UPDATE: Message from CW, they’ve cancelled the NN Brown strap and are sending me a new black one for the same money. Well done CW.

Thank you Neil!! Exactly what I needed to hear.

My first experience with their system and I really appreciate you giving credence to my more optimistic thoughts.

Yes I tried as many different ways as possible but it shows the same error. Payment was taken immediately but it usually shows on my side as pending for a short time so hard to tell if cancelled etc. I will trust the confirmation emails and rest at ease for now until notified otherwise.

Thank you for your help it's much appreciated!

In any event, the worst case is usually always far from the worst case.

In a CW sale, it can barely be a bad situation. So I reckon.

New buyer and getting my first half decent watch.

After much research and deliberation, I was all set to go for the green ombré sealander, but opted for the white GMT sealander on a black hybrid strap in the sale.

I didn’t realise at the time, but I think I may have got the old style logo, I was tempted to buy another to ensure a new logo, but decided to stick to my original order.

Ordered on the first day of the sale and it’s still marked as “pre order”. I also went a bit wild and ordered 4 more straps!

The consort bracelet I ordered has arrived all the straps are “being prepared for delivery “

I am worrying a bit that there is no change on the watch itself. I will be particularly annoyed if it’s not available as there were plenty of opportunities to buy the white GMT in the sale.

I was thinking to leave it till after the weekend and maybe send a chase up email?

As you bought the straps for the watch, I'd hold tight. You have plenty of time. The GMT regularly comes up for sale in excellent condition on eBay, so you can always get one, you just need to keep an eye open and wait for the right one.

I’ll keep waiting. If it doesn’t arrive or gets cancelled I’ll probably return everything else and have a rethink.

Would be a shame as I’m quite sold on the CW brand now.

C63 Sealander 39mm Blue on hybrid rubber
1-14-2025 Tuesday - Order email
* not yet processed.
My C63 Sealander on the Blue Hybrid has also been stuck in limbo since I ordered on the 10th!! The status still says "preparing for dispatch". Unsure why... I'm new to CW and this was my first order. Getting a bit nervious if its unavailable... since 5 days later I ordered the consort bracelet for it.

Seems like some people's orders are starting to update to dispached... fingers crossed

I find when brushing the brushed sections it is easier to mask off a full side, ie the polished and one brushed section, then brush the other unmasked side before masking the other half of the bracelet and repeating.

Getting a thin piece of tape to cover just the polished section so you can brush both sides simultaneously is not very practical.
To avoid cluttering up this, the January Sale - 2025 thread, with unnecessary detail about my bracelet works, I created a separate topic in the Straps forum;-

Bracelet for C60 Trident Pro Mk1 (or Mk2).

Unusual watches showing now. It's odd, if you sort low to high, and high to low it shows a different watch in the list.

^^^ Along with the sort options, the currency changes what’s shown. The 43mm Worldtimer is available in USD but out of stock in GBP. The reverse is true with the C1 Grand Malvern Moonphase. Either display shows 30 items. When I sort low to high, all the watches are gone and there remain straps and bracelets only. At least the tease of the C8 Flyer listing has been removed. :)

It was 40 when I was looking including a couple of half price watches, one a NN Malvern, and one a C3 quartz (I think C3)

Down to 30 now.
