10CC got this in a song title: I'm not in love. The feeling of "no, just no." is as strong as ever I've felt it before. Straight back in the packaging. It's not the watch, it's me. Even SWMBO volunteers "that's really not your colour!" Colour matched date wheel is a lovely touch.

It's just possible I'm saving my emotions for the one still "being prepared for delivery" but my plan is that this one goes back.

I was lucky enough to get a blue Trident Pro 600 in the opening sales, so looking forward to receiving that. And one of the blue tide ocean straps.

No news on dispatch yet, I've gotten in contact with customer support to see if I retrospectively upgrade the delivery but can't help feel that it's being held at ransom. Anyone else finding the same?

First sale purchase arrived today. Very comfortable strap, my first time seeing a Vacona in the flesh. I don’t have a CW watch that it fits for now, so trying it on other watches for now

I'm waiting for one of those (to be delivered). One of the few 40mm offerings in the sale. I think my preference would have been for a white one, but I don't really have a Tiffany-esque watch, whereas I do have black blue and green watches.

I grabbed a 20mm black cordovan leather strap with the intention of preserving the oe Strap on my recently acquired Red 12. In fact it also works on other 20mm watches such as this C9 Nth Degree Alpha LE which needs a link putting back in. And if there isn't a half link it will then be too long

I did as well. Out of interest does it have a taper, or is it straight?

^^^ 20mm is likely to be straight.

Welcome. The process can be quite slow at sales time. Give it until after the weekend.

I purchased a C63 Sealander GMT with the Hunter Green Ombré dial on the first sale day. It’s been on my wishlist since seeing it at the Hours + Minutes show in Austin. I’m looking forward to delivery… currently sitting with US customs. Come on DHL!

Honestly no I don't feel that way. The fact is that the winter sales probably stretch staff resources at CW beyond their normal capacity and I sleep sound in my armchair by telling myself that a few days' wait is no big deal. Pull up a chair, let me pour you a coffee

^^^^^^^ guy's answer is correct. I don't think I've handled a bader clasp strap which is not, like this one, completely parallel with zero taper. I do like that it has q/r spring bars which will facilitate watch-hopping.

I had my eye on these but decided the price wasn't right. It looks even nicer in your photo tbh!

My leather straps on Bader clasps from CW are also straight with no taper.

^^^^ When CW introduced the Bader deployant, they did a full range of sizes with taper; 22>20, 20>18, and even 18>16 (I've got two, one of which is XL).

A few years ago, they rationalised the range with only one 20mm Bader deployant, meaning we got tapered 22>20 but straight 20=20.

It's now swung round with the #2 Titanium Bader for the Bel Canto, which is, I think, only 16mm giving a strong taper 22>16.
