Re: January Sale - 2025
It's as expected; Blue & Orange and Black & Red.
Rather nice, if you ask me. An air of 'different'.

Re: January Sale - 2025
Thanks for showing us, although I think this might be reaffirming my second thoughts more than anything else. I assume these were some how part of the 300 limited editions and they didn't want to add to those numbers so swapped the bezels out.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 10:34 pm It's as expected; Blue & Orange and Black & Red.

What conclusion is that?WileyECoyote wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 10:07 pm Not difficult to determine which watches seem to be moving slowly in this sale. Most have 36mm in common. You can draw your own conclusions.
Delmar
I just bought a 36mm Twelve
I suspect the 36mm does feel too small to many of the men buying CW watches. It’s very vintage and wears small compared to my Explorer 36 and Grand Seiko at 37mm (possibly due to the heft of it - it’s a thicc boi). Although I really like it.
Considering the Tissot PRX is killing it at 36m, I wouldn’t say it’s the size as much as it perhaps not working for those customers.
I think it’s interesting the watches with Consort bracelet flew off during the preview. And both mulberry dial 36s have gone quickly (I’d have gone for it, but I want the consort bracelet).

I totally doubt it.Charlieboy75 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 11:02 pm . . . . . . . I assume these were some how part of the 300 limited editions and they didn't want to add to those numbers so swapped the bezels out.
By the '300 Limited Editions' I presume you're referring to the C60 Trident Elite 1000 LE; details in the CWArchive. This was a date only, all blue model, sold out during 2019.
I agree the C60 Elite 1000 Blue/Black is a parts bin special, but with parts from the open series, day/date C60 Elite 1000; details again from the CWArchive.
Make sense?

Thanks, I hadn't picked up that the LE was only day date.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 11:14 pmI totally doubt it.Charlieboy75 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 11:02 pm . . . . . . . Re: January Sale - 2025
I decided the strap seemed to have no taper. Maybe ok on a 20mm strap, but I would still prefer it with a taper, so I didn't bother trying to buy one.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 7:44 pmIt was for a bespoke C63 Sealander for the RCMP.JAFO wrote:Do you or anyone else know what the strap was intended for. I haven't seen one like it. I imagine I have a number of 20mm (or 22mm come to that) watches that might look good with the strap, and the bader clasp is always a plus.

I couldn't resist and bought one to see. 36mm should be too small but you never know.
I've never seen a 12 in real life and it puts me off buying a 12. I might have tried one of the ice cream models, maybe the green rather than the peach, but they are 38mm

Rolex make a thing of mismatched watches and bezels. Isn't that a batman?Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 10:34 pm It's as expected; Blue & Orange and Black & Red.

Re: January Sale - 2025
As I write this at 6:23 p.m. EST, I count fourteen, 36 mm watches still on sale. The people have spoken. And it was not a "yes" vote.
Re: January Sale - 2025
To be fair, if there's mainly small watches in the store, there will be small watches in the sale.

Re: January Sale - 2025
Valid point.
But five and a half hours later, there are 13, 36 mm watches for sale. Buyers have little or no appetite for them.

Yes Guy that makes sense: I've just spent some time searching the archive for this specific model C60-42ADD3-T0BK0-B0 I haven't found it yet: the link you provide takes us to T0BB0 variants and T0KK0 variants but not the T0BK0 variant.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 11:14 pmI totally doubt it.Charlieboy75 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 11:02 pm . . . . . . . The T0BK0 will be added to the CWArchive once we have full info from CW.
