Re: January Sale - 2025
Has anyone received one of the Frankenstein C60 Elite 1000 with the blue dial? I've ordered one but didn't initially notice the orange second hand and chronometer logo and starting to get cold feet on it if the image is true to life. I'm hoping it won't be to weird in real life or hopefully they've been lazy and just photoshopped the limited dial onto it and not updated the colours on the second hand/logo. Added complication is I'm in the US and if I have to return I will loose out on the currency conversion and possibly the import tax to

Do you or anyone else know what the strap was intended for. I haven't seen one like it. I imagine I have a number of 20mm (or 22mm come to that) watches that might look good with the strap, and the bader clasp is always a plus.

What is more important having clean clothes or getting a great watch on sale?
(I know what my wife's answer would be)
I assume the listing is incorrect and it is the v2 Quartz version (based on information from the archives)
Sounds like someone needs to get a new wife.

The Oro I meant (new model, just released). The dragonfly was on there as well as a Nero, Cielo and the purple one

^^^^ Oh well. I'm another one who's getting a strap that I wasn't quite expecting.
Ordered one this afternoon based on the listing as 22mm. Thought it might be an option for my C60 Elite 1000 SE.
Saw '20' in the SKU on the email order confirmation.
Checked the website and saw contradicting information, that is now corrected. Took screenshots for the record.
Resolved to see what gets delivered and take it from there. If it is, as now transpires, going to be 20mm I'm sure I'll be able to find a watch for it.
C'est la vie.

I collected mine earlier this afternoon from my local DPD pickup point. It's currently sitting, still boxed up, on my dining room table.
I'll let you know what it's like in a while, but I'm convinced that it will be blue/orange dial and details with black/red dial bezel and details.

Re: January Sale - 2025
As suspected, wasn’t after anything and nothing popped up to tempt me (if I hadn’t just bought a Mk2 C60 GMT the parts bin Elite might have tempted me-must have been a few as one was available until this afternoon). But I did end up with a couple of straps as at half price I thought I might as well join in the fun. Blue canvas with bronze clasp that I was going to get at some point last year for my C65 Trident Bronze SH21 (have the distressed leather strap on it) but it seemed to be discontinued so that was a bit of fortune plus a vintage oak one as a spare for when one goes. Not so exciting but as I say, wasn’t in the market for a new CW yet still found myself checking and refreshing

Re: January Sale - 2025
Just ordered the black/orange hybrid rubber strap I'd been looking for. Previously they only had the ones with the black buckle but they just added the silver buckle version I wanted. I think CW makes the best rubber straps in the business. Total quality and they look and feel great.

Wow, that’s some restraint! I’m sure most people would be straight into the box!Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 7:49 pmWelcome to the forum.Charlieboy75 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 7:17 pm Has anyone received one of the Frankenstein C60 Elite 1000 with the blue dial? After knowing each other for more than 30 years and married for more than 20, I do not have the energy to train a new one and I am sure she would say that she does not have the energy to train a new husband either.chuckf1 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 7:42 pmSounds like someone needs to get a new wife.nycWATCHnerd wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 2:28 pm I missed this one while I started my laundry this morning.

Not difficult to determine which watches seem to be moving slowly in this sale. Most have 36mm in common. You can draw your own conclusions.

^^^ That’s a pretty stiff discount on the C12 Halo models. They look nice, but would benefit from a few design changes.

If it doesn't work for you, the best course of action would be to flip it.Charlieboy75 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2025 7:17 pm Has anyone received one of the Frankenstein C60 Elite 1000 with the blue dial?
