Available to 'Buy now' and you better be ready . . . . . . it's only bought once you've Checked an item out. Having it in your Bag is no guarantee of being able to buy it.

A few words of advice, if you're planning to buy something;-

1. Keep an eye on the forum as no doubt someone will post up that the Sale is 'live' with the appropriate link; I've done this in the past but only once I've bought what I might have been after.

2. Get yourself logged into your CW account, with Despatch address and payment details saved, ahead of time.

3. If you see something you want to buy; buy it straight away, don't put it in your Bag and keep looking.

Good luck.

Nothing is ever as straightforward forward as that with CW and the mystery of who is and isn’t on a mailing list! :)

Anyone who received the email is clearly on the CW mailing list.

I received the email and always receive all emails that they send.

I clicked on the link and it indicated something along the lines of thanks for subscribing. That generated a further email that I needed to confirm my request by clicking on.

From the above I think that CW have altered the process for this years sale..

Send email to those on mailing list, asking if they require access to the sales preview.

Those on the mailing list who ignore the email won’t receive the preview link.

In previous years the preview link was sent to all on the mailing list.

Those that say they don’t receive CW marketing emails are clearly not on the mailing list. Something easily rectified, by signing up to receive them.

Got it - thanks.

I’m having trouble adding payment info in advance. When I try to add new payment info through the ‘add new payment’ link I get a message saying payment instrument needs to be added through checkout. There must be a way to add in advance since there’s an ‘add a new payment’ link but can’t get it done.

Try putting an accessory, Watch Pod or Roll in your Bag, then go through the purchase process, including adding payment details, but stop at the final 'checkout' point. Might work?

Good thought but I couldn’t get it to work. I was able to add my payment information and could select to save it for future purchases, but in order to save all that I had to continue with the purchase. I did not see an option to back out after saving payment info.

Just wondering if the 60 day returns policy applies to watches bought in the sale - asking for a friend. :D

Yes.

That's how the eBay scalpers & flippers work.

Buy a watch in the Sale, put it up for sale unworn to try and make a profit, more now as eBay has no seller's fees. If it doesn't sell, return it to CW under their 60/60.

Not everywhere. In the good old USA, we still pay eBay's 15% fee for watch sales.

All the above ^^^^^^^^^ sound advice plus it would be unusual for everything to be listed on day 1: usually there's an element of "restocking" the sale page, quite possibly for days on end.

I keep wondering what I might be looking for in the sale and the first answer is "nothing really, unless there happened to be some legacy models": the second and third answers are along the lines of "who's to say what might take my fancy/what impulses might pop out?"

I have an descending order of priorities (desires):

1st: All Black 40mm Trident Pro 300 on a Bader
2nd: As 1 on rubber
3rd: Black 39mm Sealander on Bader
4th As 3 on leather
5th: White 36mm Sealander GMT on Bader
6th: as 5 on leather
7th: This is where desperation kicks in and I make a mistake spending money on something that I’m not so keen on😂🤣

By all means share the link via PM, but don't post in open, public, forum.

Guy
I’d massively appreciate the link too, by PM.

I’ve been an email subscriber for years and I’ve not received this heads up!
