All emails that I have received from CW have a .co.uk address, not .com.
Also Mike, as is often the case with company executives has more than one email address.
Neil
Good observation, it must just be a mistake in the email title I’m guessing then as I have also not got a final payment on a Bel Canto to make. (My classic arrives in Feb fingers crossed!!)
C63 Sealander GMT
C12 The Twelve
C1 Bel Canto Classic
Farer Markham II
Rolex Datejust
Cartier Tank Must
Seiko SKX007
Seiko 5
Longines Hydroconquest
I had a similar email about a week ago (correctly titled) asking me to leave a TrustPilot review for my Super Compressor Elite, then another today asking for a review of the Bel Canto, albeit with this incorrect subject line.
Legit as far as I’m aware, just looks like the heading has been wrongly input on an automated message. And I presume the “mike.f” email address is the corporate one used to send broader messages in his name but not the personal one he monitors himself.
I post a few watch pictures now and then to a little Instagram account - 16 followers and counting!

I work in IT and if the sending domain is correct, then this is a simple mistake from a data/email merge. The data being supplied to these automated emails is obviously incorrect.
I would be interested to know if there is any correlation...was the watch mentioned in your email a previous purchase?

Both emails have, within the body, the correct name of watch purchased. The first email had a generic subject about leaving a review, the second email had the subject regarding paying for a Bel Canto. So I think just the subject was wrong. They've issued a correction email now:
We wanted to reach out to clarify an error in the subject line of our recent email. You may have noticed that the subject read: “A Message from Our CEO. Complete Your Bel Canto Final Payment.” This was a mistake on our part.
The email was meant to invite you to share your thoughts on your experience with Christopher Ward for a chance to win a watch of your choice. If you have responded to that email, we will do our best to come back to you.
We apologise for the confusion and truly appreciate your understanding. If you haven’t already, we’d be grateful if you could take a moment to leave us a review. Your feedback helps us improve and continue creating timepieces that delight.
For those who have already submitted a review – thank you! Your input means the world to us.
