Spotted in a Jeweller's window in Pickering, North Yorkshire this afternoon.

Have you got x-ray vision, Steve? Looks reasonably clean from that pic surely.

Closer inspection revealed wabi between the links on the bracelet and it's otherwise a bit worn, but only honest wear / rubs to the pvd. Lume pip is missing. Chronograph works fine.

And does the sound module still work? I mean that alarm probably wouldn't wake a sleeping anything but it's a function of the watch. No box or papers? Bracelet links missing?

I guess someone's got to walk in and talk about £125 and settle at £155 but what does the archive suggest? Quite a bit more actually! Wowee! I'm a real tyre-kicker!

Crossed lines, I think, Guy. I have never thought of Wabi, or perhaps more correctly Wabi Sabi, as corporeal gunk. I think of it more as noble imperfection or patina, which it certainly has, especially around the bezel.

I think the accepted Japanese definition is the acceptance of imperfection.

^^^^ @Amor Vincit Omnia

I'm with you now, Steve.

^^^^ @tikkathree

If you look up the correct model in the CWArchive Pete, no Resale since 2015 and then at a paltry $182.

If however you check a regular C4 the figures are much more rosy.

Bits and pieces? No box, papers or spare links but new battery. Saving grace is the bracelet is sized perfectly for me.

Question is? I'm sure we know that it's a C4 Peregrine, but which version.

This afternoon I was thinking C4 Corax, due to the black bracelet; link to the CWArchive .

However, on further inspection, the chapter ring with tachymeter scale looks to be aluminium. :-k :-k

With some kind help from @forgepicture over on the CWE Group, he nailed it as a C4-IP2 aka C4 Terminator, a version I've not come across before; further link to the CWArchive .

It's got to be a bit of a rare version as it was only available for six months in 2008, and there are only 3 sales tracked the last being in 2015.

Slightly off-topic, but the watch at the far left caught my eye. Well more accurately, the bracelet. I have a fixoflex on an old watch of mine and it's very comfortable. I've never seen one on the forum before.

I now expect to hear that people have been wearing these bracelets for years and that they have a website/blog devoted to them ...

Never heard of a C4 Terminator? I don't think I had until yesterday.

Well? Here's how it all started in a thread from September 2007;-

Who says you can't make a difference?

Thanks @Terminator 2

Looking like this is the best (IMO) of the three options presented in the archive. Good spot from the person who found the right model. @Bahnstormer_vRS, I see that you've posted in the reference gallery. Does this mean that you've taken ownership, or were they in-store pictures?

What a great find Guy.

Probably a good thing to find out it was a Terminator only after the fact. Otherwise the urge to inspect the watch and leave the shop saying "I'll be back" may have proven too great...

@timepieces_and_bags - thanks Michael.

I knew I didn't / wouldn't have time to go back; a decision had to be made.

I saw it in the window, actually thinking the shop was shut and walked down the street. Turned around and realised the shop was open. Quick check on the CWArchive for Resale, thinking it was a regular C4, showed me the price was good.

Into the shop, asked to have a look at it, chatted, and decided to buy, even with the downside of no box, papers etc. That the bracelet is perfectly sized for me was a major bonus.

The jeweller has been in business for 40+ years and was Cash only! Fortunately there was a branch of Barclays bank across the street with an external ATM (as the branch was shut). Sorted.

It was only last night when I looked further at it that I realised it had an Aluminium Chapter Ring / Tachymeter and research lead me to the C4 Terminator models. :D :D

Congrats Guy on finding such an unusual C4.
The aluminium tachymeter complements the sub dials really well. I took a look at my C4 today. The black tachymeter is almost illegible.

@Tonywalker - cheers, Tony and point appreciated.

I'll take a look at the Terminator tomorrow and compare it with my C4 BBMF and C4 RNAS 800 IPK, but in the meantime some quick pics from the CW of the Day thread, a while back for comparison;-
