The Delma Shell Star is quite similar and drops the COSC spec for 500 quid.

Yep, what I meant is that the Lumiere is £2k (on bracelet) and the Delma is £1.5k (also on bracelet) but without the COSC spec so the Delma is 500 quid less than the Lumiere :)

£500 less, but nearly 20 hours power reserve less too and a lower quality movement. Nice as it looks, it's not in the same class, this would compete against a standard C60 300, which is £500 less than the Delma. :)

Having been looking at all three versions for few days now, couple of thoughts from my side:
- the black one would use a touch of colour somewhere and a bit darker face, f.e. red seconds tip or similar;
- my OCD was triggered by the bracelet & case integration or the fact that the first link does not end with the case but goes a bit further (similar to Rolex 116600 SD), looking at regular or GMT Trident 300 the bracelet and case are flush on the first link, nothing is protruding;

All in all, nicely done and executed. I am not looking for another diver at the moment but would really consider CW Trident again with this edition. C60 in 2014 was my first proper watch (red bezel) and what got me into the brand in the 1st place. I am glad that there is at least something that stops me from swiping the card. ;)

Well I feel like I’m about a month late to the party but with travel and everything, I’ve just got my hands on the newest awesome twosome!

I can’t get enough of a black dial dive watch so the grey (more on that later) was a no-brainer, and I’m in a bit of a bright watch phase of late so I couldn’t resist splurging on the orange as well. All has been confessed to Mrs TB who was surprisingly understanding.

I did make a sensible-ish decision to only buy one on Bader Bracelet and the Black/Orange Aquaflex Rubber. They’re so easy to switch over I didn’t feel a need to double up. The Orange rubber strap I thought might just be too much so didn’t opt to add that one.

Suffice to say I’m chuffed so far. The grey is just a wonderful shade and so it’s different enough from my existing collection to find a place. The orange is, well, as orange as I expected and I am a fan of a bright watch from time to time.

Quickly switched the rubber over to the orange and Bader to the grey; the black/orange strap doesn’t quite fit with the grey dial in my view. But I think the grey on Bader is really great (indeed, both are great on the Bader).

Apologies for poor lighting, not setting time and not yet fitting bracelet, just couldn’t wait to fire some pictures off to the forum! And maybe I need to revisit that “how to take a good photo” thread…

Best,
TB

For those lucky enough to receive their Lumière, how is the fit? The Trident Pro 300 40mm version was a great fit for me. This is obviously only 1mm bigger. Does it wear like a 41? Bigger? Smaller?

I think it wears true to size. The lightness of the titanium also helps with the way it feels.

With experience of having / had both 40mm and 42mm C60 Trident Pro 300s, I'll concur and say the Lumière wears true to size, with the extra comment that it is very svelte and figure hugging.

Plus, naturally, you have the lightness of being titanium.

Thank you. I think my 17cm wrists should get away with it. Good job I’ve a first ever visit to the showroom in Maidenhead to make sure.

My wrist above is 17.5cm if that's at all helpful. I think true to size is right, although the lightness and thinness of the watch mean it's not too overbearing on the wrist.

Not the sharpest picture I've ever taken, but here's my blue watch received today. Delighted with it, and will attempt a more full review in the not too distant future.

the case thickness is exciting for future watches but i don't care for Ti and I don't really like the hands and markers being solid white... looking forward future designs in this case shape.

How are buyers who have received their Lumière feeling about their colour choice?

I think CW have done well on these - the orange gives a lovely pop of colour and the “orange peel” dial texture, the blue seems to have the highest fume contrast which looks great, and the black/grey is well executed and refined.

I’m going back and forth between all three!

@kev017 I was initially unsure between the blue and the orange, but I'm really glad I went with the orange in the end. It's a really striking watch, which is also super comfy to wear, and highly legible.

I wouldn't rule out a blue one in the future, but I do already have some nice blue divers, so the "need" isn't as strong as for the orange.

For sure, my colour choice (blue) was influenced by the other watches in my box. Of the 12 main watches in my collection, 6 of them are now various shades of blue, so it's a natural choice for me.

On top of that, I have a few black/dark divers, and I decided this blue was sufficiently different to stand out in the box. The orange was never in my sights, even though it looks great. I'm not an orange watch kind of guy.

Having got the blue watch in hand, it's slightly brighter than anticipated but the clarity is on another level, with an 'invisible crystal' and excellent visibility from extreme angles.
