You should send that to HQ, an olive drab dial kinda slaps.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:^^^^ the colour hue is probably due to me sitting under a primrose yellow awning; filtering the sun.

I agree - at first I was excited because I’ve seen the way the solid lume blocks work on the Vertex M100. The lume is spectacular, so kudos to CW for going down that path, but in daylight the effect is less impressive.Kalli64 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 9:08 am Congratulations to all those who have already bought a Lumiere. The more pictures I see of it, the more I'm sure - it won't make it into my collection!
Even though the Globolight indices look great in the dark, in the daytime (and sorry about that) it looks like the dial of a £100 plastic watch.
I'm sorry if I've taken the fun out of this watch for one or two people - but that's just my opinion![]()
This is the one I'd mostly go for if I was pulling the trigger
Fantastic photo - so much better than the website ones. They would sell more if they had this on the website.welshlad wrote:Joined the club today![]()
They are fixed 5-minute markers, slightly indented and painted black. I'm not sure they are completely necessary, but they add to the aesthetic.
I agree for the most part, I love almost everything besides the size, lack of date and crazily the fact that's it's Ti. I like some heft to my watches.Kalli64 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 9:08 am Congratulations to all those who have already bought a Lumiere. Yes, I got the bracelet as well. But I like to try a watch on a strap to start with to make sure I'm happy with it before I resize the bracelet.kev017 wrote:Looks great. Did you get the bracelet too? I think I prefer this colour on the rubber.
Steve, you've never struck me as an ey up / ay up kinda guy. I shall think of thee differently from now on. Besides, isn't this a tool watch? Holy nuanced nomenclatures batman!Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2024 2:36 pm Well, I knew that I wouldn’t be buying this when I understood it was a dive watch. That was me off the hook. When I first saw the teaser I thought, “Ayup, Minas Morgul”.

Lume is not essential to me. I don’t mind a touch of it but I like it to be subtle. I don’t think subtle was in the lexicon when this was designed. I’m sure it will be popular.![]()

The Delma Shell Star is quite similar and drops the COSC spec for 500 quid.
