Congratulations to all those who have already bought a Lumiere. The more pictures I see of it, the more I'm sure - it won't make it into my collection!
Even though the Globolight indices look great in the dark, in the daytime (and sorry about that) it looks like the dial of a £100 plastic watch.
I'm sorry if I've taken the fun out of this watch for one or two people - but that's just my opinion ;-)

I agree - at first I was excited because I’ve seen the way the solid lume blocks work on the Vertex M100. The lume is spectacular, so kudos to CW for going down that path, but in daylight the effect is less impressive.

This is the one I'd mostly go for if I was pulling the trigger :thumbup:

What are those square markers on the steel ring inside the bezel? Are they dots or holes to line up the numbers on the bezel?

They are fixed 5-minute markers, slightly indented and painted black. I'm not sure they are completely necessary, but they add to the aesthetic.

Your comment just made me try moving the bezel for the first time, and it feels very impressive and secure, and seems a step up in quality over CW's previous bezel movements (which were pretty good anyway).

Just wish there was a plain blue (with no gradient) dial..... Maybe some future iterations?!

I agree for the most part, I love almost everything besides the size, lack of date and crazily the fact that's it's Ti. I like some heft to my watches.

Ironically it's what gave me the final push to scoop up a C60 Blue Bronze 😊 (I'm currently impatiently waiting on it's arrival) I waited for the release of this watch in hopes it would call my attention...it did not

Looks great. Did you get the bracelet too? I think I prefer this colour on the rubber.

Yes, I got the bracelet as well. But I like to try a watch on a strap to start with to make sure I'm happy with it before I resize the bracelet.

I'm pretty sure I'll be happy enough to put the bracelet on soon. :)

Lume is not essential to me. I don’t mind a touch of it but I like it to be subtle. I don’t think subtle was in the lexicon when this was designed. I’m sure it will be popular. :wink:

Maybe I've just missed a big discount but at September 2nd the watch is listed no at £500 but at £1468?

@tikkathree Grew up in the Potteries, Pete. “Ayup” was common coin there as in Yorkshire. Me grandfeyther spock nowt but Potteries dialect.
