To my eye, through a loupe everything is perfectly aligned, apart from the date wheel, which looks slightly off to the left.
I've done my best to take a square on photo.
It's Weird because I can't see the date without glasses, so it doesn't bother me, but the Bezel or minute track, being off by a fraction of a mm, would, even though i probably wouldn't see it, without my glasses, either.
Regards Steve
I haven't seen a whole dial photo demonstrating this misalignment. You can't just show a photo of the 6 o'clock markers. The bezel ring is on a different vertical plane to the dial, and so it could be caused by an off-centre camera lens, and an error caused by parallax.
Assuming the bezel is manufactured correctly then if the 6 o'clock is off to the right, then the 12 o'clock must be off to the left. If it isn't its showing the camera isn't positioned correctly.
It wouldn't surprise me if there isn't some sort of tag/register marker to force the correct positioning of the bezel part.
Put it another way. If the ring is assembled with the 12 positioned correctly, then every index must be correct.
The date ring issue you mention is completely different. The date ring might be positioned incorrectly and there might conceivably be some mechanical slippage causing a tiny registration issue. I expect we all have watches with this "feature". This is also similar to a misaligned rotating bezel which we have all seen.
