Incoming! Dune GMT

Post by MistaFroggyG »

An extremely compelling seller offer on eBay advanced my timeline for picking up one of the new C65 Dune GMTs.

I’ve always felt drawn to a white dial GMT, but the orange colorscheme of the C63 never really did it for me.

Should be here within a week and then I’ll take some pictures to add to the gallery post.

I think this is a great looking watch. The dial colour in real life is beautiful- so subtle, every so slightly shimmery. Hard to describe. I think it looks great set against the khaki. I'm looking forward to your pics and impressions when it arrives

Fantastic looking watch. This is an example where beige markers look great and are part of a well-thought out design.

It’s tough for a watch that was ordered by the original owner less than two weeks ago to be anything but “like new” (which I was banking on).

There are a few scuffs on the Bader bracelet, but nothing serious and I’m happy that I don’t have to worry about putting the first scratch on.

This one was sized by CW (to remarkably close to my wrist size, it fits well with the clasp extended towards the end). All of the links were still sealed in their little envelope, which I opened to see if they were there.

They had put the plastic wrap back on the watch head, which made me chuckle as a fun little detail

It was the most over-bubble wrapped watch I’ve ever seen, which is hard to complain about

I don’t follow people who turnaround watches so quickly and with so little wear but I appreciate the discount.
