I wish Wyrd every success with getting the numbers together to make this work.

I'm still not an admirer of the BC's looks, and I need the watch to have appealing looks as well as the technology to go TING every hour. As for the back...hmm. :silent:

C6 & C60 Kingfishers,
C600 Tritechs,

C65 "some",

Some other brands

Legibility issues?
If it's an LE then it's part of the decision between the commissioner and CW. But, yes, legibility issues :D :D

Oh. So. Many. Legibility issues.

No, the black hands will aid legibility immensely. As did the blue hands on a previous LE. The silver hands on a silver dial of the standard models make the Bel Canto quite difficult to read on many occasions. Or, I could be old with bad eyesight but my Bel Canto is hard to read and is the only watch I wear and use my phone to tell the time. YMMV :D

Another LE while struggling to produce and deliver what has already been pre-sold? I’d be mad if I’ve been waiting on a BC and watching my delivery date get pushed back again and again. Poor form, CW!

There is no suggestion that these LEs are queue jumping.

They have to slot into the production process like anybody else.

I love this dial and hope they use what they learn here and bring it to their other watches

Probably my second or third favorite dials color, but I’ll stick with Purple for the time being. But this is definitely an extrovert’s watch.

Hmmm, for me, the adage, 'less is more' comes to mind with this dial.

As for the black hands, well they look out of place amongst all the silver on display. An aftermarket afterthought, that proves that if legibility is such an issue, more thought needs to be given to the design than simply replacing silver with black.

Maybe you could use the same colour hands as the dial, and reduce the strip of lume, or even have no lume on the hands. Just thinking out loud though. I'm not sure how much lume there is on the BC without checking, but I'm not sure you necessarily buy the BC for the lume.

Each to his own. I prefer the original steel hands to black. I have no difficulty whatsoever in telling the time on my Azzurro Bel Canto.

I would agree with this completely. Lume has its place. The Bel Canto needn’t be one of them.

I like the continued use of color and variety in the LE BC. In them, and the regular releases, CW has a runaway success. I have my preferences among them and the Wyrd is intriguing but ultimately not for me.
