Looking back at the last couple of years, the sales seem to start around the first Wednesday of January.
Keeping my eyes peeled now the Loupe code has gone.
I reckon since the rebrand there will be a lot of old logo stuff offered.

Re: Sale Starts Today??
The sale started on Thursday 6th last year and Wednesday 6th the year before.
Kip also said yesterday that the sale wasn't going to be starting today.

No email yet. I'm hoping for sometime this week. I think tomorrow for some reason.

Re: Sale Starts Today??
Not bought a CW before but do have a Bel Canto on order. Hoping to dive in for one or two in the sale and see how I get on.
Is it a sale on new stock or are these 60 day returned stock? Possibly both? What sort of % does the forum think we'll be looking at? Thanks

Re: Sale Starts Today??
Firstly, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Bel Canto order.birdfeeder wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 12:54 am Is it a sale on new stock or are these 60 day returned stock? Possibly both? What sort of % does the forum think we'll be looking at? Thanks
The main part of the sale is for "nearly new" watches, which typically attract a 30% discount. "Nearly new" are normally described as watches previously lent out for promotions/reviews or handled at shows etc, but generally they are almost indistinguishable from new, although there is the chance of some minor marks. They are not generally meant to be watches returned within the 60-day period, although there may be a few, I guess.
In addition, the sale sometimes includes some "end of line" models at a variety of discounts. These are normally brand new, not nearly new.
There are normally some straps and bracelets also included in the sale too. Maybe the odd prototype as well.
As to when the sale is happening, that's not been revealed yet.
Hope that helps.

That's very helpful, thank you. I think it's completely reasonable to sell watches on that basis for 30% off and if they're almost indistinguishable from new that's a great deal.welshlad wrote:Firstly, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your Bel Canto order.birdfeeder wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 12:54 am Is it a sale on new stock or are these 60 day returned stock? Will be a while before the Bel Canto comes, the window is Jul-Dec 2023 I think. I've gone for the black on bracelet. Had the blue in my basket but dithered and wish I didn't. Oh well.
