C65 SH21 LE back on my wrist.

Post by MiniMpi »

So so happy to have this gorgeous watch back on my wrist :)

The backstory :
I bought it in February 2020 for my 50th Birthday at the showroom.
A day or two afterwards I noticed what looked like a part fingerprint on the dial between 12 and 3. It was only visible under very direct lighting and only certain lighting conditions. So I put it off and tried to forget about it as it so slight.

But when I was at the showroom again this September, I asked them to look at it.
Alex the technician took it apart to try to clean the dial, however as it was on for over two years it had burned into the dial :(
They put it back together, regulated it and we headed back to Ireland.

Matthew, head of CS located a new dial for it !
So I sent it back over to CW on the 18th and it returned all sorted yesterday !
Outstanding service :)

Good to know it's back and as good as ever. Mine is working well after a warranty fault was sorted a year or so ago...

I think my SH21 C65 diver must be my most worn watch. Well, until this week when I started wearing my C8PR. :D

Great pictures of a great watch (to go with a great story!) :)

This model ranks right up there with my favourite CW designs, just stunning.

It's a special looking watch and I imagine that etchy fingerprint dial treatment would have been as irritating as neighbour learning the bagpipes.
