By the way, my post isn’t meant to be critical of the watch. The C65 GMT has always been a favorite of mine. The bespoke touches seem perfect for the group it was created for.

^^^^ I didn't take it as being critical Andrew; don't fret.

I used to own one of the regular black dial C65 GMTs, so this one will kind of replace it.

That is a good-looking C65. I don't mind the ship, to be honest. ;-)

It's a fine looking watch but, when it fist popped up on my Insta feed, I thought someone had posted it as an example of a terrible QC issue with the left aligned text having terribly misprinted. It was only when I read the supporting text to the post I understood what it was all about. I know it's a minesweeper now, but somehow I still can't shake my initial thought.

It arrived this morning, is fabulous and has exceeded expectations.

Apart from just looking great I was, from the Technical details I was sent (written in March 2021), expecting a push in crown and SW330 movement; both of which, for the watch, I was fine with.

However, it has benefited from the rolling upgrade to a screw down crown and, more importantly, the much improved SW330-2 GMT movement with 56 hours power reserve.

Unfortunately, I've no opportunity to wear it until later next week as I am now off and away on holiday.

Mine is an ETA 2893-2 but it is really early. SN 0027

This LE is a nice one. I do remember the ones right at the end having the screw down crown. Nice that these upgraded to the SW330-2.

I'm back from holiday, have been for a couple of days, but I was wearing my other incoming C65 over the weekend, so here for #MilitaryMonday is my C65 GMT Mine Counter Measures 2 on, courtesy of Gary (@JasperCat), a CW distressed Vintage Oak leather strap with bronze buckle (which suits the vintage vibe of the watch really well).

^^^^ Chatting with Peter France this morning, CW still have three of these fine watches looking for a good home.

Any takers?
