Received mine at designated time. (NN C60 Black Bezel/Blue Dial 40mm on hybrid)

Really great looking watch, great price. (£407)

But it’s going back.

Just south west of date window there is a tiny speck of dust inside. Only visible at certain angles but once I’ve seen it, I keep looking for it.

My OCD wouldn’t forgive me if I kept it.

First ever problem with a NN.
I had that issue with my super compressor. New, not even nearly new. Very simple fix. Round trip to CW and back to me was about 2 weeks I believe.
Nothing gets repaired in 2 weeks . Plan for 8.

Sent from my SM-X200 using Tapatalk

13 days door to door. And I’m in the US. One other forumite had a similar repair timeline for a speck of dust under the crystal. This was early 2021 during pandemic and right after CW reopened for repairs and were backlogged. It’s an incredibly easy fix.

Bold of you to make such an absolute statement

Here’s a link to my thread documenting the issue and repair last year: general-discussion/speck-of-dust-on-und ... ml#p849672

And a link to the other forumite’s thread documenting the exact same issue. 17 days for him.
general-discussion/qc-issue-with-worldg ... ml#p853149

I’m not saying it WILL be two weeks for you. I’m saying it was for me and someone else too, and it is possible.

Not sure if someone mentioned already, but straps now added to sale.

For US folks, it does appear to be more expensive to order under USD compared to GBP.

I use Royal Mail Parcelforce, uninsured, with separate insurance from Secursus. Never had to claim, but peace of mind comes at reasonable price.
Just checked it out. That’s really useful to know - thank you.

I’ve used DHL in the past which is >£100+. This is way better!

Thank you for the heads up on this. I secured a bracelet for my C63 GMTs which is what I was hoping for from this sale.

I did look twice at an Aquitaine black GMT. I like the look of that version. Perhaps another day….

Prototype C60 Chrono (Beast) back up £1304

I paid £767 January 21 for mine

So that’s £537 for the 000 serial number 😱

Request a returns pack and see if they’ll get the speck of dust out.

If not, I’ll get a refund.

Thanks for your input/suggestion 👍
Returns pack on it’s way, email received from Tabitha.

Pretty good response time during a sale

Same here - got it in Jan 2021.

IMO, one of the coolest and most amazing watches CW ever did and I’m more than happy with it and the price I paid. But I wouldn’t pay this much extra for that serial number.

and also hard to justify it as a prototype given the only difference between this and the previous version was the logo.

I think it's a good watch, but I could never get on with it because you can't set the time precisely due to the seconds disc.

When the C60 Chronograph (Beast) came up yesterday, I was going out the door on my way to work. By the time that I got there, it was gone. So, I was surprised when I checked the sale this morning that it had popped back up. I gave it a serious look because it is a nice looking watch & I lack an automatic chronograph. I went as far as to put it in my cart but couldn’t pull the trigger. Even though it is a prototype, I agree the price seemed a bit much. The sale discount was 20%, not 30 or 40% as many sale items. At the moment, I have an Atoll on order, so it isn’t like I am watch deprived. After giving it some thought, I would prefer to wait & see if Christopher Ward would release a racing style automatic chronograph, which should be a slimmer watch. Just seems to me that is a vacant spot in their range of watches that should have a market & needs to be filled.

^ The bracelet looks to say 42SHS21 which sounds right, but it doesn't look like it fits?

The actual watch looks great
