I don’t know about the rest of you, but it just doesn’t feel like a proper sale without the Al Deere popping up.

I recall seeing one there briefly along with the Morgan offerings.
I got the email and opened the site at 3.30pm at which point there were 112 watches (91 were automatic). 60 mins later there were fewer than 45
At 6pm, there were about 20 left

There’s still time, JKB. Never rule out a stray Oh Deere popping up.
I just discovered I have over $500 in credit card rewards! Had I known this before the sale, I think I would have bought the C63 GMT and taken my chances with my wife. As it stands now, I think I’ll just wait for the 36mm C63 in the fall and try my luck then.

Much to my wife's relief, I didn't see any in the bunch that tickled my fancy.

I was actually wondering what would replace the AL Deere this year.

There are still three C1 Morgans available, not as expensive Al but expensive and niche enough to hang around it seems. Will they still be there this time tomorrow to earn the title?
They are still current models so not eligible for this crown.

Maybe in a day or two? Stock refresh for the weekend?

CW's email stated 'Sale Preview - 24 hours' following that suggests going public on the website this afternoon.

It’s also worth remembering that, on previous form, more items tend to be added into the sale at fairly random intervals once it has gone public.
Someone also mentioned about the times of day when these events occur. Being based in the UK, they are probably done at some point during the working day here. Depending on the time of day, that could be very early in North America, especially on the western side, or very late/middle of the night in countries like Australia and New Zealand.
Swings and roundabouts. I’ve certainly heard people in the UK saying that they have been unable to access the preview or sale at the time it went live because they were at work.

I imagine it's similar to the other military watches. Some buyers are deterred by the implied personal connection. There's a NN colchester at 35% off there now, and others as well. That "training" version was a bespoke watch - it was most unexpected to see that on sale.
The Sandhurst is an oddity. On the one hand, it is designed, built and marketed as a military field watch. On the other hand, I think it is arguably a better Explorer alternative than the Sealander while, at the same time, less of a homage. I almost bought the Sandhurst instead of the Trident Pro 600. A month ago, when COSC seemed more important to me, I probably would have bought the Sandhurst instead.
