C1 moonglow on bracelet

Post by Mabeco »

Hello,
Small experience with my moonglow on a rivet San martin bracelet (vintage diver with female endlinks).

Not sure it's my cup of tea but it fits quite well.

I had it on a whisky ostrich strap before.Image

Sorry, it just looks wrong. Despite the end links not being a great fit that watch needs a nice leather strap. I’d like to see it on the ostrich - I reckon that’d look brilliant. I think you could, maybe, get away with a nice polished mesh bracelet on it but some watches, in my opinion, just belong on nice leather.

Hi Chris,

Taking out of the equation the end link fit, it may work for some people as I've received some compliments for it this afternoon.

The watch becomes "bigger" and sportier. But it is not my cup of tea either.

This is the moonglow on an ostrich

Yeah, all personal opinion - that’s what makes it interesting. I think it looks brilliant on the ostrich - cheers for the pic

I've always wanted it to have a bracelet beyond the mesh.

The San Martin bracelet is a livable fit IMO.
