Also, what's with the new logo affair....CHR.WARD?
Looks like a hospital sign.
And, please reassure me we will not see "Chr. Ward" adorning a watch dial any time soon..
was having no problems with speed at first then it all went a bit Pete.
Website looks more amateurish than before - very plain.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

Re: Christopher Ward website runs slowly on my computer!
At least the dodgy web site has saved me money. Sat here bored. Looking through the preview pics and thought I would give the C11 MSL (monkey stepladder) a go. Site slow and not working so gave up and put some bids on ebay for similar looking watch instead. Well done CWL somehow new I didnt really want to spend my money I don't have.

Re: Christopher Ward website runs slowly on my computer!
I'm surprised by this. Certainly not good practice. A dodgy non working slow web site could do more to damage CWL's business than some bad mouthing rumours from salesmen.
Whatever happened to offline testing. It's not hard just time consuming.

Incredibly slow by now, even with my 100 MB optical fiber connection...
Bad luck

Re: Christopher Ward website runs slowly on my computer!
Speed wise seems ok (ish) to me now. Mind you, wireless connection not always the best.
Just a lot of broken links (0 search results page).
I am liking the idea of the CW360º although that's probably worth it's own thread.
<edit>
Errr, just tried the CW360º read more bit and came up with page not found
The web site is certainly flaky.
Wonder if people surfing the site will think the same about the watches?

Re: Christopher Ward website runs slowly on my computer!
Ridiculous - probably easier for me to wait for someone with a faster connection to buy the watch, get bored and put it up on the sales corner.
and Hans... you dare change this forum to the "Chr. Ward Forum".
...
Hang on... it has at last loaded the page - maybe 4 or 5 minutes - and now I have very quick access to the zoom feature.
<edit> I thought that I was probably exaggerating a bit with that 4/5 minute estimate, so I decided to time it... over 7 minutes now trying to get to the C40 page from the sport all page. Bored now.
<edit 2> 8:50 (2Mb connection - which is fine for everything else I need).
<edit 3> a bit later and they're loading inside 15 seconds now.

The engineer told me I needed to upgrade mine. Criticised the memory, keyboard, graphics card. When he had a go at the CPU I took that personally, punched his lights out and told him to stick his views up his serial port.androo wrote:My computer is red

Re: Christopher Ward website runs slowly on my computer!
Doesn't seem to be running too slowly on my 10mb wireless connection but is a touch hit and miss. Like others, I am not to keen on the Chr. though. Why the change? Perhaps he lost a legal battle to Constatin Weisz?!?!?
