Re: Where do you wear your Christopher Ward watch?
Since it's almost Saturday, which means it's almost no longer Make-Fun-Of-Your-Forum-Troll-day, and after an evening spent doing cookery things, I might as well answer your question a bit more seriously. The Laird wrote:Still interested to know what type of sports you use your watches for?
Ahem.
So.
Here goes.
Sports for me implies badminton (no... not campington, but more like the variety practiced inside a sports hall), and cycling.
And no, I couldn't care less about the time when playing a badminton match. It is just that sometimes I just forget to take may watch off (the CW bracelets are that comfy). During training, they do come in quite handy.
I used to wear a Polar watch/heart monitor during cycling practice, but I have found that I can now judge my heart rate quite well without the help of a Polar device.
"In the field" means that whatever camping vacation* I go on, my C6 Forum LE comes with me, for two reasons:
1. it's been tweaked (over a period of months) to be deadly accurate**, so I can set it before we go on a three week vacation and not worry about knowing the correct time, and
2. the lume on the C6 FLE is actually quite decent, allowing me to read the time in the wee hours of morning in September**
3. It takes a beating. Or two. And then it burps, and asks for more.
*) Our idea of a camping trip is considered to be quite strenuous by our children, who are in their late twenties. We do walk up the odd Scottish mountain, and we do walk along the odd rocky Brittanny coast. Also, we do not mind getting wet very much.
**) both these statements have recently been made obsolete by the C40, which, OUT OF THE BOX, is more lethally accurate than my C6 FLE after months of tweaking, and which has the best lume I've ever seen on a watch that is not a Seiko.
Hope this helps.

Heres a shot of the wild and currently quite rare (although i believe Chris is trying a new breeding program as we speak ) 'C20 lido on Bracelet' - grazing in 'the field' - I had to creep up on it from down wind as if it spots you it will spit its lug pins at you and rip your wrist hairs off!.... sadly just out of shot was a pack of ferocious c600's eating an injured Henley whilst varied c70's speed around comparing lap times whilst waiting for scraps....Overhead; a beautiful flock of C8's fly in formation with a couple of c5 aviators nesting quietly in a tree, perhaps they are wondering if they will have a new born ETA 2824 or a beautiful baby Sellita?
.........A beautiful day to be.....in the field.......
(FYI C20's don't actually rip your wrist hairs out.....i made that part up)

Re: Where do you wear your Christopher Ward watch?
Getting realy fed up now.....been asking several good looking women if they would like to help me "field test" my CW.....
have now got 2 sore acre's......and a black eye......I'm not really sure if this is much help, but will risk the C5 whilst helping my mate (who is a chicken **** and scared of heights) by prunning some branches over hanging his house to day with "Betsey" (Betsey is my Still chain saw.....)
being real men we shall do this task aided by one or two bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale.....I suppose for safety I may take the C5 to watch......but will not wear it
