Titanium bracelet does not come with Lumiere?

Post by DiverDown »

I was on the website and you select a band or bracelet. Then at checkout the titanium Bader is an extra $525. Really, you get the steel Bader by default?

Taken from the website: https://www.christopherward.com/titaniu ... K0-B0.html
“Nothing demonstrates Lumière’s ambition better than its bracelet. Crafted in Grade 2 titanium, some facets are polished, others not, and the edges are beautifully chamfered. It boasts a taper to 16mm, and has a micro-adjustment mechanism – with a button marked ‘push’ – that lets you adjust the size by 6mm.”

The specs with bracelet selected seem to suggest it’s titanium:

If you choose a Lumiere on an Aquaflex strap and add it to your basket, CW will suggest adding a bracelet. The suggested bracelet is the titanium variant for the Lumiere. The bracelet watch does not come with a steel bracelet by default. Verify your initial options and look again.

Edit:
If you choose the bracelet initially it is the titanium bracelet.

Great news. Now I just wish it was 43 or 44mm. Does anyone else wish it was bigger? Are there other titanium divers that are this thin?

I have a Mido Ocean Star that is 1 mm thicker and is 42.5 mm in size, grade 2 Ti with 80 hr power, adjustable braclet, day date, 200 meters WR. Not quite the looker of the Lumiere, but has been a a great watch over the years and a great value at todays prices.

I actually got this one from a well known “gray" dealer on a black friday special and it has become my go-to vacation watch. At $624, I just couldn’t pass it up.

Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

^^^^ You could look out for a C11 Makaira Titanium Elite COSC.

42mm case width but pretty rectangular so wears 'large' and a respectable 13.4mm thick.

I pulled the trigger on a Lumiere with a bracelet. What size tool do I need to resize, is that a flathead in what mm?
I still have my Certina 43mm Ti, we shall see. I've looked at the Mido and might take a punt. I almost pulled the trigger on a Pelagos 42 LHD just not, then my Ebay search came up with the Lumiere in black. I had to do it. They take returns if I don't like it. Can't lose.

Top notch acquisition.  You should be well pleased.

Screwdriver for the bracelet? 1.4mm. I've got this one from Watch Obsession.
