I think it would be a mistake to go back to the C6. Although I agree that the design is unique and less 'me too' than some of the others, I think it's a bit early for a CW 'heritage line'.
Yes but...
I also think the C6 looks a bit cheap. I think that's mostly down to the bezel.
Replacing that with a trident type, and taking the taper off the ends of the hands would effect a proper refresh on the design, and provide a cost effective quartz diver line which wouldn't detract from any of the existing line up.
Anyway; opinions are opinions and I know naff all about marketing watches.

Or CWL could release a C60 Trident Quartz.

I can’t say that I ever thought that the bezel looked cheap, but I would have liked the timing numbers to be a lot more legible and bold.
I’d certainly like to see what the watch would look like with a Trident bezel?
The legibility of the bezel numbers on the Tri-Tech Diver Elite, I always thought should have been more readable for a sports watch and perhaps highlighted somehow?
I remember photos of this being done some time ago now. I liked it with much clearer numbers.

And this is where I am with it. The plasticky bits on the bezel look like it came out of a lucky bag. No wonder the company have no intention of resurrecting it.

It did come out of a lucky bag, you're right. I have no idea why anyone would buy such a tacky looking thing. Of course having owned a C6 you are speaking with the authority of objective experience, right?!

No, why would I own one when I consider them hideous? Owning a pair of eyes on the other hand and seeing them all over this forum helps me form my opinion.
Add me to the list calling for a return of the C6. Also produced before I was aware of CW watches. As am owner of a C600 (black/green) and a orange bezeled C60 I'm reluctant to shell out for a blue dialed C600 as well, but having seen the C6 FLE I would love to add one of those.
As I become aware of some of the older CW designs, I tend to agree that the current range is not as good as some of the previous ones. Definitley time for some new additions or returns of some more popular designs.
The C6 was a nice cheap quartz diver that was not an obvious homage to any other well known watches. I bought mine as a holiday watch but only took it away once. The C6 did suffer from a characteristic of the quartz movement where the second hand did not always align perfectly with the markers and put off a lot of OCD forum members, there were some lengthy threads about this subject in the past.
