I have only one canvas strap, and honestly have never really worn it -- I much prefer bracelets, leather or CW's hyrid straps. But the quality seems to be good -- it's more of a preference for me. Here are some pics, in case they help.

I have one. I like it quite a bit. I’ll reserve judgement on well it will hold up over time because it hasn’t gotten a ton of wear so far. Don’t take this as a reflection on the strap but more a reflection of the number of straps I rotate through.

I will say this, I noticed what seems like fraying in the strap holes quickly. I say “what seems like fraying” because I can’t say for sure that it’s fraying or maybe just the nature of canvas.

I have one of the canvas straps as well. I like it. For me it has held up well. I can't say I have used it as an 'everyday' though.

^^^^ It's a trait of the CW canvas straps that they are designed to wear and fade with use; whilst remaining perfectly serviceable. :wink: :wink:

Canvas straps:
I have a green canvas strap which is an occasional wear with my green dial Sealander. As jkbarnes stated my too has kind of ‘frayed’ around the holes and spring bars. I like the strap but the very early signs of wear is a bit disappointing.

This is why I qualified my words the way I did. I didn’t want to ding the straps for simply behaving they way one might expect canvas straps to behave.

Some people like tatty. There was quite a vogue in “distressed” furniture and doors some years ago.

I like ‘tatty’, but ‘distressed’ is a word that’s a bit distressing. I’m more ‘raggedy chic’ :lol:
