Having just given a tide strap a good wash, it’s probably worth pointing out that they take longer to dry out than an Egyptian mummy. Might be an important consideration if you plan on wearing this with a swimming watch on holiday.
I did. Once.
Otherwise quite wearable if a tad stiff.

I have a couple of tide straps and really like them. Much more comfortable and soft than a traditional NATO strap. As I’ve posted on the CW of the day thread, I’m currently wearing my C700 on one. I’m enjoying the combination.
The first one I got was stiff and took time to loosen for a comfortable fit. The newer ones are quite comfortable from first use. I probably have a half dozen of them. I find them more pliable than the canvas straps.

The #Tide category has disappeared from the staps and bracelet site of CW. Too bad.. i was hoping for more collourways....
I agree with these being nice straps. They are a bit stiff when immediately out of the package, as is the case with so many other straps. With a little pre-use bending/breakin etc. they wear comfortably. They are too long for my wrist in that there is too much free strap, but I cut one nicely with scissors, scorched the cut end and filed the excess. Worked a treat.

I have one and echoing comments, it was VERY stiff.
To break it in, I rolled both sides into a very tight roll (think Cinnamon bun style), held tight with an elastic band on each roll and then dropped into a bowl with very warm water (just short of boiling). Left it overnight and unrolled to air dry. Much improved wearability after that treatment and now comfortable.
Like @iain noted, they do seem to take a long time to dry out. Bit unusual as I recall they were made with partial material from plastic bottles
Tide strap fitted - it's very stiff out of the box, but can be "moulded" to shape, looks tight but it's actually pretty comfortable. Photo when I get to my PC!
