I disagree the lovely ivory face is so different and very attractive and I have to agree that the size is great same as a tag Monaco which i'm sure was the inspiration, but really one of my favorite watches.

I too would look forward to a new squarish watch from CWL. I love the C15, but it does wear much larger than its 39mm size. I think that something in the 34-36mm max would work better for most. This was actually the size of the original C15 prototype.

Note in this old photo from my collection below, the watch in the middle. It is a prototype of the early C13/C15. It measured 34x44.5. Unfortunately it had an odd strap size and the size of the overall design was enlarged.

I like the look of the chronograph version, it'd be nice as a re-release as an auto chronograph.

Square watches can be really hard for the general to pull off.

I've got a Cartier Santos and it's a lovely piece but at 29mm is a tad small!

It's a classic, iconic watch.

I think that a squarish case would be just the ticket!

38 would fit most of the gen pop. The Jean Richards are a good example of multiple case sizes in a square case.

Hmm. I too have tried to like C11 but find them just too big on the wrist.

Currently my only "square-ish" watch is this Bulova Accuquartz hummer which measures just under 36mm x 40mm

I like square/rectangular watches, especially with slightly rounded corners. Gives a bit of retro look. Am going to start saving for a Tag Monaco for my 40th in just over 5 years time which will be my ultimate watch. Unless the wife has something to say otherwise!

I love square/rectangular watches, but Avo is right if he points out that they wear larger than you think they would. In my collection I have got three Tetras and I've been wearing one of them since Friday:

It is, in fact, 29.5 x 29.5mm. Who would have thought that a watch that is that small wears that large.
Would I buy a rectangular watch by CW? Difficult question, but I guess that we wouldn't see a watch that small. The line from the chat "Are you man enough?" or something along these lines when Chris talked about the Chronograph is still ringing in my ear.

However, my next watch might fall into the category rectangular watch...
