This Thursday’s Preview Event
I may be going crazy, but I can’t seem to find the thread on the Preview Event being held this Thursday. Anyone see it?

^^^^ Easily found if, as a routine, you look for 'Unread Posts' rather than reading a specific area of the forum.

Now we need an event where Guy teaches us all about "Unread Posts'. I don't have a clue.

As a novice at this what software do I need for the link? I use Safari as my browser.

Can’t remember what they used last time, but it was not Zoom, IIRC.
It worked on my iPad using Safari.

Re: This Thursday’s Preview Event
Noting Kip's message that subscriptions to the event are relatively low at the eleventh hour coupled with a request for future events, can I respectfully suggest that the times 1630 UK/1130 US Eastern must be somewhat restrictive to those of us in full time employment?
I know you can't please everyone, and trying to satisfy both sides of the Atlantic is bound to be inconvenient to one side or both, but the chosen timeframes do seem to have missed both audiences. Perhaps shooting for two events separated by five timezones or a weekend event might work better?

Re: This Thursday’s Preview Event
This is sole reason I can't attend - I'm at work until 17:30. Haven't been able to attend the previous few ether for the same reason. I'm not overly fussed though, I'll wait until the official revealrichtel wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2024 1:40 pm Noting Kip's message that subscriptions to the event are relatively low at the eleventh hour coupled with a request for future events, can I respectfully suggest that the times 1630 UK/1130 US Eastern must be somewhat restrictive to those of us in full time employment?

Re: This Thursday’s Preview Event
The time of day conflicting with my work schedule is the reason why I never attend these events. With the time zone difference, it is a narrow window to thread for one event.

Re: This Thursday’s Preview Event
I have always enjoyed these events in the past. I have not been able to attend one for a while as I’ve been at work at the times they are now held.
