Thanks Asqwerth for the quote!

Jason (presume that's your first name :)), to help you making up your mind, actually the C9 FLE is a very versatile watch with different straps, so not only you get a great handwind dress watch on the classic leather, you can also wear it as a weekender, a few shots for your reference:

For the real classy photos of the C9 FLE on different straps, I suggest you search under Mr. Rick (aka strap master).

Hope you make up your mind soon! To start off your mechanical watch collection with the C9 FLE is just class :D

thanks.
Which straps are those? Just the regular c9 leather straps? The brown one on the link is really nice!
Aifo any more pics of the one with the brown leather strap?

Now just waiting for Wera to reply. And I will order!

Good to know that you like the brown strap, it is indeed a CWL strap with 20mm lug width and signed deployment clasp. Here's the link to the exact model: http://www.christopherward.co.uk/straps ... 5sxt2.html

However, it is NOT the original strap which comes with the C9 FLE. If you do like the brown leather strap I would suggest you to consider ordering one together with the C9 FLE. The other straps in my pics are sourced from different vendors, which are mostly online sellers and a few local suppliers.

As you may have guessed, I have bought quite a few straps and pretty frantic about strap swapping, hence I particularly like the versatility of the C9FLE. I do hope you enjoy yours when it arrives, and pics is a MUST in this forum.

The link goes to a 24mm strap. Is that the lug width for the c9fle??

No, the C9FLE has a 20mm lug width, as do all of the C9 range.

Link to a 20mm tan leather CW strap.

Does the c9fle come with the same 5 year warranty like the other watches on the site?

Thanks for all the pics.

With the time difference between UK and here BC Canada. Communication is quite diffficult.
They have to call me so I can give them my credit card info. Or an easier way is PayPal. If i go this route, at what % does PayPal charge to use their service??

It does not cost you anything extra to use Paypal. The extra costs hit CWL. The only difference is that with Paypal you pay immediately but with credit cards, CW charge when the watch is ready for despatch. In the case of an in-stock item, this makes no difference at all.

AFAIK PayPal is free when paying - the vendor pays the charges.
