Re: The Wife
I have vague memories of this:
But it’s amazing how many euphemisms are used on this forum alone: SWMBO; Our Lass; my other/better half; the financial director, Mrs (forumname) etc…
Some people of course just say my wife/partner. Or use the person’s name, as you do yourself.

Re: The Wife
On an alternative forum somewhere...
The Husband
The Husband wants ANOTHER watch! I said i'd just buy it but now he's talking about me not getting a discount. Does he want it or not, it is me buying the damn thing!
Sounds like a good suggestion to use the £100 off which isn't too short of the 15% and saves having to speak to CW to extend the BF promotion.
From what I see it might be on pre-order anyway. I didn't realise that they had moved to the ombre dial on the blue (or scratched as I would call it), and it looks great. I remember seeing lots of the plain dial in previous sales and I wasn't keen, this really looks a step up now.

Re: The Wife
Ordered
When I told her she replied
"What watch?"
I think she may be a "keeper"..... the watch....not the "trouble and strife"
She has got her way, her engagement ring is in for an extra stone and remodeling.
Happy household, well would be happier if I hadn't had a 2.5k repair bill for my car yesterday..... so bread and water Xmas day here

Well bread and water might make you think of brussels sprouts more fondly. Maybe not...

Any discount then will only be on a Nearly New watch and I'm sure 'the wife' would wish to buy NEW (and I doubt the C60 Bronze will come up as end of line for a clearance discount).

The NN pieces in the January sale are pretty much what it says on the tin....
The OP said himself he would rather get as much as discount as he can....
As it's coming from his lovely wife I'm sure it's the gesture more than anything than else so why not take advantage of a good deal......

Re: The Wife
It is very nice to describe my wife as "lovely"
However I find "pitbull" more descriptive
